Mixing Banana Metabolic Drive

Anyone have this flavor turn almost solid when mixed with the proper (that they recommend) amount of water/milk?

i have to use almost 50% more water to even make it drinkable.

Yes. I actually like it… using the same amount of water that I use with chocolate, it turns into a sort of banana pudding. Tasty.

yes, i hate the banana flavor, rather not hate, but its by far my least favorite, mostly because of this.

I agree especially when I am trying to get a 60+ grams of protein drink going and its like sludge. I ended up mixing it with Strawberry half and half, until the banana bucket runs out then I will not ever buy it again. :slight_smile:

Otherwise, maybe throw some strawberries in and blend it.

Honestly, I dont think I even take notice how much they recommend. I take 2 scoops with 2 cups of cold water, and it mixes great. Are you using less water, or is it milk that adds to the thick consistency?

I actually usually toss 2 scoops into my oatmeal with some nat Peanut Butter. Great Meal taste wise, and macro wise.

i have to use one scoop with at LEAST 12 ounces of water. the milk does make it a bit thicker but no matter what if i do the 8 ounces with one scoop, its too much for me. that oatmeal mixture sounds F’ing tasty. i know what i’m havin for breakfast.

is the only method of rectifying this problem adding more water? i like the taste a lot (good change of pace from the chocolate), but i find that i have to drink 1/4 of the “sludge” first, add more water and finish the rest. i am using a hand mixer and water.
