Coach,
I recently listened to your conversation with Fouad on his podcast. I picked up a ton of practical info I’m starting to incorporate into my training, such as the comparison between high volume and intensity training, paying attention to the sets where reps slow down, frequency, etc. One thing that came up in passing, during the part about training frequency, was a comment you made about the volume in a session needing to be sufficient to create an anabolic signal.
I know, like everything, there’s going to be individual variation, but I was wondering if you have a general range you’d consider to be a minimum.
As I’m currently doing an upper/lower split, ensuring I have adequate volume, not only over the week, but in a single session, is something I want to keep an eye on.
Thank you!
Ben
