It’s kinda like sitting at a bar - and listening to a blow-hard loud mouth yammer all night. Then you challenge him to put his money where his mouth is - in a friendly wager - and he tries to worm his way out.
Irish - lighten up. You seem to be taking this far too serious.

Exactly.
Why not have some fun?
You guys (lefties) are running your mouth about how the House is the dems for the taking.
I disagree.
Let’s have a friendly bet?
The nice things about bets, is you have to put your cards on the table.
Doesn’t it delight you to think the Good Guys would have to type GeorgeBushLied to sign in?

I hate freedom? Where do I say that?
Jeff, and RJ, let me make this clear. I don’t think the democrats will win. I never said they would win. I don’t want to take this bet because more likely than not, a conservative will take office again. I never “ran my mouth” saying that democrats will take 2008. I WANT them to take 2008, but I don’t think they will.
I welcome anyone who thinks that the dems will win to take this bet. There probably won’t be many, but that doesn’t make them “yellow-bellies,” unless they specifically say elsewhere that the dems will win, yet would not take this bet.
