In lieu of semper_fi’s post right below mine, I’d like to make it clear that my post was sarcastic.
Jeffy did this back in 2004. We had a couple of lefties take him up on the bet.
I doubt there will be anyone this time around take him up. We have lost a lot of quality from the left side of the fence in the last couple of years.
But I’ll throw in - and become BushLied2 if the dems can take one chamber of congress.

I don’t want to take this bet because more likely than not, a conservative will take office again. I never “ran my mouth” saying that democrats will take 2008. I WANT them to take 2008, but I don’t think they will.
I welcome anyone who thinks that the dems will win to take this bet. There probably won’t be many, but that doesn’t make them “yellow-bellies,” unless they specifically say elsewhere that the dems will win, yet would not take this bet.
