Michael Moore - Terrorist

I think that we need to define the definition of Terrorist. My personal definition is one who uses violence or threat of violence, on Civilians, in order to promote their personal mission/belief.
While my knowledge of MM is limited to second hand information, he doesn’t fit my definition. He does seem to question our current Leaders actions and ability. While I do not share in his points of view, I do believe that we must question our leaders. To blindly follow what our leaders say makes a strong dictatorship, not a democracy.
While many, including myself are too young to remember the red scare and the witch hunt they went on, we must not fall into that same trap. We must remember that everyone (legal age assumed) has a voice and a vote and it is our duty to exercise both.

If you wanted to destroy the greatest country on earth, would you attack it with guns and bombs? Hell, no! That’ll just piss 'em off. Instead, convince them that they are all evil or fools. Teach them that the USA is an out to screw the world. Make movies that convince their children how awful we are.

A quick look at history would show that the best way is to destroy their economic power base and/or their military. While our Military is top notch, we must change our work mentality to compete in the future. While our forefather have been hard workers, what has set them apart is their inventiveness. In my limited world, I have seen both in rapid decline. If you are the worker, then ask yourself if you give your best (knowledge as well as labor) for the agreed pay or did you stick to the man. For the boss, then ask your self did you use your work force the best that you can, did you listen to their ideas on how to improve or did you simply do it your way, as you have always done regarless of the outcome. Yes this is a gross simplification of the problem America will face, but it would take a book to relay a clearer picture. Just remember, differences in words and ideas ususally make a country stronger in the long run. The most important threat to America’s Super Power status is the long term decline in its economics. And we all can share in making the economics better.

Lumpy,

Just a quick note:

You do know that parents cannot enlist their children, right?
