i just remembered the cartoon the jackson 5 used to have. mega-cheesy seventies stuff that i watched all the time. their afros and striped pants and the choreographed turns. why are people still talking about a few songs in the 80s? he was in the forefront from the '70s to the '90s. where were these people? even if you didn’t like the music it was big and wide enough to touch everyone in some way. as far as music videos when they came into their own it was michael and madonna for all the innovation.

Well this just does it. He is going to be one of the most famous men who has ever lived. He was already a superstar and now he has died at the premature age of 50. I find it a little hard to believe it was death by heart attack but we will soon see after the autopsy report. He was seemingly a very fit man. It may of been heart attack but eccentrics such as Michael often die prematurely. However I never expected this.
He is definitely up there with Elvis and Bruce Lee.

The man was rich. They saw an opportunity. There is no doubt that Mike was naive enough to let that happen. There is also no doubt that if he acted more like an adult, he wouldn’t have been in that situation to start with. However, to believe he actually raped kids when it is equally possible and much more likely those parents just wanted to extort some money because of a situation it makes me wonder why people simply choose to believe the former.
When we were kids we all “got” Michael. It wasn’t until we got older (when we lost our own innocence) that suddenly it became strange. If Mike never grew up, his actions make a shit load more sense as off as they were.

I highly doubt these parents knew that their children would be spending the night in the VERY bed of Michael Jackson. If anything, I believe they trusted their children would be safe with such a public figure. It is very important for parents to be familiar with anybody their children will spend a night with, but I HIGHLY doubt anybody thought for one second that he would take them into his own bed for the night.
That is not neglectful parenting, that is simply blind trust, you assume the person isn’t going to be keeping a fucking bed with your child and rightly so…if I had any inkling that my child would be sleeping in the bed with him, I’d have chopped his fucking head off, and paraded it around the world.
It is highly probable that these parents are money hungry assholes, and Michael Jackson being so famous and rich… we no longer have the luxury of believing where there is smoke there is fire. But so many would vouch for his innocence purely by citing talent alone. As if the talented are immune to sickness. It certainly doesn’t cancel all he has given the world, the good you give is the good you give.
Nobody can dispute that he was talented. That he gave joy to this world. I just don’t think anybody ever knew him, and I suspect he had some awfully gigantic demons, and then some. He ended as a frail human being, sad for a man who was tremendous inside.
