Besides all the political bollocks, I will tell you when I was in kindergarten, I first heard Michael Jackson sing. ROCK WITH YOU. I never forgot it, as a singer it hit me. That was the first and only song I heard coming to San Francisco California 1977 yall. It will forever remind me of those days. I wanna rock with you…all night… dance you in the … sun light…so good. Doesn’t it make you feel good? If it doesn’t I don’t want to know you. Lets dance now… cmon
I remember when the first case was brought against him, and the family’s legal presentation stating expressly that they wanted justice, not money, and that and out of court settlement would not suffice.
Two weeks later they accepted an out of court settlement and the charges went away.
This(and the case a few years ago) was a case of MJ being raped by adults, not him raping kids
It’s simply amazing how hard people will latch on a bit of negative publicity just to bring someone iconic down. Like they are not satisfied with their own lives, so no one can have a satisfying life. As X and Jereth said, MJ is simply guilty of putting himself in a position to be taken advantage of.
hey, feel that beat, oh we can ride the boogee … im gonna rock with you, all night…
He is kind of lucky he died young everyone forgetting he was a child molester. His family should have gotten him some intervention along the way he went off the deep end.

Im gonna rock with you… all night… dance you in the sun liiiight…and thriller.
I only ever got to see him once in my home city, what an absolute legend.
Had bought tickets to go to London… obviously this won;t be happening.
As for anyone commenting on the molestation charges… found not guilty ?
But hey it’s better to mock someone than admit that they were greats.
Get a life and when you do anything near what he did THEN you get to comment, not his fault your life sucks.

Classy. Some things are better left unsaid.
Yea,…lets just neglect the fact he was convicted of sexual battery with a 13 year old boy…
You want a influencial musician? Reaserch Bach.
But with all respect of his career.
If Bill Clinton were to die tomorrow, his affair with Monica Lewinski would be the last thing people would talk about.
So a sexual relationship between 2 consenting adults is the same as a 45 year old man playing with a 13 year old’s sac o’nuts?
He made good music and then turned into a child molestor. If you are into child molestors, R. Kelly chooses girls that are older than 13.
Don’t get me wrong. I liked michael. Not a huge fan, but he had some good music. He was no elvis though. But I gotta say it though. I have a theory how he died. While he was working out with lou ferrigno, he must have slapped lou on the ads and said good workout! Lou, of course couldn’t hear him, thinking michael was coming on to him. So lou punched him in the chest and there you go.
Ok that was mean. I really do hope he rests in peace and finally has the childhood he wanted

Cute.
Tell me, what price would your parents say you go for when it comes to RAPE?
They would allow someone to rape you for…$1,000?
$20,000?
$1,000,000?
What is the price tag for someone to do anything to you when you were a kid so that they would forget the whole thing?

You’re talking about the most famous man in the world. Yeah, there’s alot of famous people and most of them are weirdos, but none of them are Michael Jackson famous. Tom Cruise is famous, and he’s a fucking loon, but he’s not Michael Jackson famous. Angelina Jolie’s pretty fucking famous and pretty fucking weird, but she’s not Michael Jackson famous.
There’s been three people in the history of the world who’ve attained that level of noteriety and they’ve all self destructed: Elvis, Michael Jackson, and Britney Spears, and maybe she’s young enough that she can somewhat do damage control. There reaches a point of being TOO famous, and these three hit it. I’m not condoning what he did, or allegedly did, but no one here will ever understand the level of insanity his life reached on every concieveable level.
The first tape I ever bought was BAD when I was in kindergarten. He was the greatest entertainer in music history, and no one will be able to touch what he’s done. Show some fucking respect.
Tremendously well said buddy, and thank you for it. I was a huge Michael fan. And for what its worth, I’d like to add this- I don’t and NEVER have believed the molestation shit. That being said, was he weird? Absolutely. He missed his childhood, and was wanting to relive it and kids were the only people who didn’t think of him as “Hey, what can I get from this motherfucker?!!!” He was just a FRIEND to them. They were the only ones REAL with him.
And seeing the type of guy he was, I always believed him when he said he didnt touch them. Who should we believe? The money grubbing parents? WHY?!?! Tell me this- would YOU let your fucking kids sleep in ANY adults bed overnight unsupervised?! FUCK NO! Not if you’re any kind of parent. Those fucking people had AGENDAS! They knew damn well they were gunna try and take this guy for a ride and fuck him over for money. Any parent that lets their kid sleep in an adults house and/or bed without knowing them/being a family member, etc is no fucking parent to begin with and not a fucking thing they say can be trusted. They were fucking neglective, deceitful, money hungry fuckin liars, plain and simple. I’ve never seen how anyone cant put that together.
These people let their kids go sleep unsupervised in an adults house/bed with him. They didnt CARE what happened to their kids. And they knew what they could claim later on. Totally bad parenting (actually about as bad as it gets) and totally untrustworthy CHARACTER for a human being to have. Nothing said can be taken at face value due to that alone. Michael’s character, by the songs he sang, the messages, the charity, etc, I don’t think were ever in question, and the molesting shit was the only thing that ever really caused people to question it. Yes, he did weird shit, but the kid stuff was the only BAD thing, and again…When you look at what is involved on his side vs those parents, sorry, I’m gunna take his.
Rest in peace Michael. May you be with the Lord and finally get the peace, love and happiness you have been searching for your entire life.

I highly doubt these parents knew that their children would be spending the night in the VERY bed of Michael Jackson. If anything, I believe they trusted their children would be safe with such a public figure. It is very important for parents to be familiar with anybody their children will spend a night with, but I HIGHLY doubt anybody thought for one second that he would take them into his own bed for the night.
That is not neglectful parenting, that is simply blind trust, you assume the person isn’t going to be keeping a fucking bed with your child and rightly so…if I had any inkling that my child would be sleeping in the bed with him, I’d have chopped his fucking head off, and paraded it around the world.
It is highly probable that these parents are money hungry assholes, and Michael Jackson being so famous and rich… we no longer have the luxury of believing where there is smoke there is fire. But so many would vouch for his innocence purely by citing talent alone. As if the talented are immune to sickness. It certainly doesn’t cancel all he has given the world, the good you give is the good you give.
Nobody can dispute that he was talented. That he gave joy to this world. I just don’t think anybody ever knew him, and I suspect he had some awfully gigantic demons, and then some. He ended as a frail human being, sad for a man who was tremendous inside.
I get where you’re coming from, but you have to look at a few things here…
A) When you’re talking about ‘blind trust’, who do you think was really the one more capable of that- Michael, who idolized Peter Pan, or parents who, in one way or another, put their kids in a position to be sleeping in a bed with an adult man, claimed they wanted justice, then settled for MONEY ($$$!!!$$$ THANX JACKO!! $$$) when they claimed their child was raped and molested? Seriously? Do you people not read between the lines on this?
B) I followed that case pretty closely- All of these kids spent MORE than 1 night in his home- Youre telling me these kids never piped up to their parents about the weekend and said “Oh, we all slept in Michael’s giant bed with him?” Yeah, they did, and guess what? They went back. Case closed RIGHT there.
C) “Blind trust cuz he was a public figure” So was Hitler. If that is the reasoning alone for it, then yes dear, I’m sorry, but that is 100% neglectful parenting. In fact, it may be the definition of it. You put your child in harms way…As a parent, you err on the side of caution. And again, the kid (the first one anyway) slept there on way more than one occasion.
D) You just said it- “If I had any inkling they were going to be staying in his bed…” Well, its your kid…Aside from the fact that if NOTHING else, after the first time they knew, who’s job would it be to find that out? “Hey, where are the kids gunna sleep?” Youknow, considering you’re already dumb enough to let them stay at a STRANGERS house. Again, neglectful parenting…
Only, it wasnt neglectful, cuz these people knew, and tried to take a man who simply missed his own childhood and wanted to do something good for kids who, a lot of people forget this, were actually terminally ill, before they died and make some new friends. Like X said, until we lost our innocence, it was a lot easier to understand his actions, because Michael never lost his.
The guy came on tv in a sitdown interview, crying, because of how wretched the thought of doing what he was accused of was. Again, both families that accused him of this took him for a ride, plain and simple.
The fact alone that after he was accused of this, had his name dragged through the mud, and forever became a punchline to fucking pedo jokes, and CONTINUED to let these kids come to his home, truthfully, to me, shows the truth in and of itself. He wasn’t a pedophile. Michael Jackson WAS Peter Pan.
^ What he said, though i somehow doubt the dopes of this world wanting to look witty and funny will care, much better to just mock him.

Well said, Mike.
I can’t believe I’m defending Jackson… I was never a fan of his music as a solo artist (except for “Human Nature”), and I wasn’t entertained by his showmanship and fashion sense either.
I guess I’m defending the human that he was.

It was all down hill after “Off The Wall,” anyway.
I didn’t like him as a person so much but his music was damn good.
Thats very cool of you Iron Dwarf. Believe me, if Michael was up in Heaven looking at this thread, I’m sure it would mean a million times more to him that someone was defending his character and the human being that he was rather than the talent he had, especially seeing as you werent a fan. Good for you for speaking out despite that. Hat’s off to you, sir.
Train hard everyone!

Well this just does it. He is going to be one of the most famous men who has ever lived. He was already a superstar and now he has died at the premature age of 50. I find it a little hard to believe it was death by heart attack but we will soon see after the autopsy report. He was seemingly a very fit man. It may of been heart attack but eccentrics such as Michael often die prematurely. However I never expected this.
He is definitely up there with Elvis and Bruce Lee.
Bruce and MJ may be comparable by level of fame, but that’s about it.
