Ah, the libs!!

Too funny. That’s your great proof? You posted a link to the guy backing off his accusations. AFTER he starting catching hell for it.

How about you take a moment to remove your head from your ass so you can listen to what he actually said.

http://mediamatters.org/items/200610240001

I actually saw the show a long time ago where he said he DELIBERATELY didn’t take his meds, to show people what Parkinson’s is like. He didn’t take his meds now SO HIS POLITICS COULD BE SERVED. That’s exactly what Rush said. Quit letting your hate of rationality blind you.
The swaying motions of MJF’s body in the commercial are a side effect of his medication. Not taking his medication would lead to muscle rigidity. MJF was NOT exhibiting tremors.

Dr. Limbaugh said that MJF was exaggerating the effects of his disease by either intentionally not taking his meds or by acting. He said it was one of the two. He said it was shameful. And he came to these medical conclusions by watching a 30 second commercial.

Do you get it yet? If MJF wanted to exaggerate his disease, he wouldn’t be swaying in his seat. He’d be RIGID.

Quit letting your hate of rationality blind you.
Michael570 wrote:
“He is exaggerating the effects of the disease,” Limbaugh told listeners. “He’s moving all around and shaking and it’s purely an act…This is really shameless of Michael J. Fox. Either he didn’t take his medication or he’s acting.”

Is Rush strung out again?
Naah, he has been faking of being human all his life.

This is terrible.

This kind of thing is why the best don’t often go into politics, because little shitwits like Rush Limbaugh or 265Deadlift or ButtfuckedinBelgium come out of the woodwork and say the most awful reprehensible garbage.

It reminds me of suggesting that George Bush is comparable to fascists and Hitler, that George Bush is a liar and that he killed half a million people in cold blood in a war to get more oil for his VP’s friends in Halliburton, that he is a war criminal who staged 9/11.

Or insinuating that George Bush is killing MJ Fox by not allowing public funding of research that violates the most basic, life-and-death ethics of the public who elected him, particularly when the gains of such research, while promising, are fairly speculative.

Who would be evil enough to do that?

Haha. Way to dodge the point shitforbrains.

That is exactly the point. People on both sides of the aisle are full of shit and are more than willing to make personal attacks to discredit the opposition.
Rush and Chucky are not “both sides of thei aisle”.

I think calling Michael J. Fox out about his illness is despicable no matter who does it. Obviously if he was supporting a Republican somewhere some liberal nutjob would probably say the same thing.

Even after apologizing he says Michael is exploiting his illness. Bullshit. Go tell Christopher Reeves he was exploiting his paralysis, or tell Nancy Reagan she’s exploiting her husband’s disease and death.

Crap like that is despicable, regardless who does it.

Some guys on T-Nation, like Harris, have tried to insult me because of my asthma (which kept me out of the military). Does this apply to those guys as well?
No, that doesn’t apply. Because you’re a sob who wouldn’t blink to insult others.

But because of your asthma condition (which kept you out of the military), you want a free pass.

Try again pall.

JerkoffR is pansy that discounts those that do not agree with him by labeling them dems or libs.

Real spooky stuff.

He is just another AWM.

in fact the only veto done by President Bush during his presidency is to veto stem cell research. He maintained that it destroys fetuses.

I maintain he is a hypocrit because 1,000’s of stem cells are destroyed daily by failed invitro fertilization, but he is fine with that. Not to mention the day after pill, he is fine with, which I (a pro choicer) have a problem with because it opens the door to using it as a form of birth control.

My logic based on the fact it is much more involved, painful, and expensive to get an abortion.

He only stops the federal funding of new embryonic stem cell lines.

The federal government still funds existing embryonic stem cell lines as well as lines generated by adult stem cells etc.

You have been deceived on this issue.
You mean the tainted ones scientists don’t want?

Hence, people called “scientists” wanting new lines destined for a toilet flushing.

“You have been deceived on this issue.”

Hilarious. In an ironic/sad sort of way.

Sorry, but I don’t want my tax dollars going to the research. So yeah, definitely against federal funding.

He’s only had parkinson’s for decades… can’t imagine why it might be possible for him to show symptoms by now.

Shit, even if he did avoid getting all drugged up so he could do the commercial shoot, you are still looking at a person actually afflicted by disease. WTF?

I think maybe it’s time to rethink the attack dog strategy.
While it is pathetic that the left would try and take advantage of MJF for his illness, it is also asinine to say that he is faking.

The entire issue, on both sides is retarded.

 1. Government should not help fund research unless the public will get some of the money back when the pharmaceutical companies start to make billions on research that WE THE PEOPLE paid for.

 2. Stem Cell research has not been proven to help any condition. It is a lot of hype and speculation.

 3. There are multiple sources of stem cells, embryos is just one, your own body right now is another.

 4. Frozen embryo Stem cells do not constitute a human.

Now, those on both sides, STFU!

Dr. mikey/dem:

Again, welcome. Perhaps you missed the part where Fox admits to not taking his meds for 2-3 days before events?

Now, I’m not Doctor dem, but, doesn’t it strike you that he stopped taking his meds before Congress and he was visibily shaking?

Now he’s saying he took more meds for the commercial.

Again, I’m not Doctor dem, but I believe that tremors happen with too little or too much.

Either way, he’s trying to exaggerate his apparent “normal” state. Now, why?

It smells like manipulation and he has his facts wrong about Republicans.

MONGO NO LIKE!!!

Oh, Rush still shouldn’t have said anything about it.

JeffR

Dr. mikey:

Did you vote for john kerry?

Or, are you a pseudo-paleolithic-crispy-creme-libertarian-Republican like marm?

This should be fun.

JeffR

Taking his meds is manipulation?
Please define what would be “normal” for MJF.

BTW, the “mikey/dem” stuff is cute. You’re soooo close to pushing my buttons. Not quite there yet, but close. Keep trying Jeffrey.

Wrong again sparky. All embroynic stem cell lines are “tainted” with mouse cells because otherwise they would die.

If new embryonic stem cell lines were started today they would also have to be “tainted” to survive.

Why? It is the truth. Scientists have discovered the cure for cancer at least 100 times in my lifetime. Never seems to work out that way.

Stem cells are overhyped.

Yep, voted for Kerry. It was a Tweedle-Dee vs. Tweedle Dum election.

Does voting for Tom McClintock for Governor make me a Republican?

Having to pick a candidate to vote for in a two party system doesn’t mean you’re choosing sides and adopting their ideology.
