Actually, X, if you peek around on that website, you’ll find the small company which runs makeyourownjeans.com are themselves headquartered in India. So they’re more likely then to pay a fair wage. Especially when you consider that these pants are made custom and not selling for dirt cheap.

Opera

I’ve never shopped at Old Navy. I’m going to have to check it out. They actually have carpenter/painter jeans!

That depends on the clothing. If you are talking about something specific, pm me.

Man, you guys all have it easy. I have a 31" waist and a 41" ass. Every pair of pants I wear, no exceptions, make me look like I’m wearing skin tight girls’ jeans, at least in the ass region.

Also, I wear size 15 shoes, which pretty much limits me to basketball shoes, and I have to order those online.

When it became a bitch to find pants that you could put your thigh into.

My problem is the crotches are never big enough…

Let’s bring these back into style.

What is too pricey for you for custum cut pants. Would $60.00 get it for ya?

Why do you know a guy?[/quote]

I’m actually considering this as a business venture. I live in Asia and could set up with quality tailors and cloth fairly easily. The question is would athletes go for the $60.00 price tag. This price would actually be the low end of what’s available now for custom cut pants.

However, since off the rack pants are more like $30.00 or less, I am worried people won’t want to make the jump. I’ve been having my pants custom cut for years, and I wouldn’t go back. Of course, because I buy here, it actually comes out to about $30.00. I would pay $60.00 if I had to, just wouldn’t have as many pairs.

Shout out to everyone that is bulking so fast that it’s only economical to buy one pair of jeans at a time.

I’ve gone up in size about three times this year and I’ve bought about five pairs of jeans during that period that are now unwearable.

Stretch marks kick ass.

If you could sell quality, stylish custom-fitted clothes in that price-range, you would make a fortune. There are clothes that, off-the-rack, simply don’t fit right on me. Most posters here would probably say the same thing.

For me, it’s jackets (always too wide around the waist) and dress-shirts (except Polo since they have athletic fits, but they’re really expensive). PM me if you’re really going to do start this business.

It’s funny. I’ve been pissed off about this for a while now. It seems like all of the new jeans I’ve bought in the past several months are sort of low cut, don’t hug at the waist, and fall off if you bend or stretch in them.
They suck.

Anybody have any luck or try Carharts?

I’m thinking of giving those a shot.
