No matter the size of the man, they always fit. Just get a longer one if you’re black.

What is too pricey for you for custum cut pants. Would $60.00 get it for ya?
Why do you know a guy?

My issue is no longer with Jeans. I wear Polo and Arizona Jeans and they seem to do right by me. Old Navy Jeans fit initially but just aren’t durable enough for the field work that I do.

My problem is with Dockers, and I wear them two or three times a week as well as when I golf. Even the one’s that are “stretchy” suck major ass. The thighs feel skin tight but the crotch looks like I stuffed my chonies with a throw pillow. I fucking hate the way I look in them and they just aren’t comfortable when I’m golfing, trying to squat and so forth.

Anybody know of another brand that makes durable-type dress pants for guys like us? I could get all my dress clothes tailored but that’s just to pricey for everyday wear.

I’ve considered wearing Dickies, but I don’t want to look like I just got out of work at the tire shop.

Try Bill’s Khakis. They’re pricey, but high quality, heavy weight material. They have a couple different styles. They can be found at higher end clothing shops, which also usually offer tailoring. Thye can also be found online. This is good for short folks like me.

LOL! Now you know how it has always been for women, trying to find jeans that fit. Ours don’t even come sized with measurements, like men’s jeans do. Nope, we just get some random number size assigned, which differs from company to company and style to style. Very frustrating.

Anyhow, to help you out, try http://www.makeyourownjeans.com/. Put in all your measurements, select the cut and fabric, and they’ll custom-make your jeans for $39, plus $17 2-day shipping from India. Fantastic jeans. I can’t recommend them enough!

The downside?

This is the person who makes them.

I’ve found that the levis loose fit and relaxed fit are ok, although still a bit tight in the seat sometimes unless I go up a couple inches in the waist. I have to say though, my personal favorite fitting pants are Carhartts. They’re looser in the seat and thighs and more or less fucking bulletproof. Unfortunately they tend to be really warm and I can’t wear them to the office. But other than that, they’re great.

Those look interesting

Damn…good to know I’m not the only one that goes into a fit of rage at the thought of shopping for jeans or pants in regular stores. Hell, I’ve never been able to wear the 501s or whatever type that’s similar.

So, the online thing is actually worthwhile? You dont spend days and too much money receiving and sending them back until you find a good fit?

Now…how about shoes? I wear a 14 wide…near impossible to find 'em in any style! I’ve given up hope of finding decent non-cowboy boots or dress shoes that feel nice and fit perfectly.

Bastard clothing industry!

x… I don’t know who makes gap, levis, old navy, or any one else’s jeans, but don’t they essentially all have they’re factories in Asia anyways?

I was thinking more along the lines of flip-flops. I’ve seen that.

Sandals, well, chance that a weight smacks the foot. That layer of shoe helps a tad.

What the hell? When did they remove the bad dubbing from that movie? I’d never seen a version without the dubbing over his voice.

I buy nearly everything over the internet now. Even walking into the average clothing shop now is a waste of time. All I get is looked at funny anyway if they see me walk into an Old Navy.
I am with X on this one, Old Navy internet store, My legs are about 30" but i am not super lean or anything through the midsection. Old Navy painters jeans fit great 36 x 34. My waist actually meaasures about 38" but i find the 36" to fit well and they tend to loosen up as you wear them.

Not sure how I feel about that…gives it a totally different feel. Takes it from Gloriously Awful to simply Awful.
