Metrosexual Jeans

Cargos seem to work well, I can’t get my legs or ass in a pair of 501’s. I have a pair of Gap cargos that fit great, but I don’t want to just cargos all the time. Relaxed fit style of pant also seems to work. Shit even when I was 140lb teen I had a hard time. I’ve always had bigger than average legs though. Guess not having a car and walking, biking or running everywhere had something to with that.

I watched the arnold clip and this was linked to it:

If you are all having such a hard time finding pants to wear, why not wear a kilt? I hear those are big overseas.

Or sweatpants.

Sarcasm asside I know what ya’lls going through and gotta say I found a pair of jeans at Target that fit just fine for my waist size. 33/32 normal levis. and for 28 bucks; not bad.

how about the newer style boardshorts that only “unzip” about a 1/4 of the length of normal shorts? extremly hard to get on with a squatters ass

Publisher 2003 Bitches!!!

My issue is no longer with Jeans. I wear Polo and Arizona Jeans and they seem to do right by me. Old Navy Jeans fit initially but just aren’t durable enough for the field work that I do.

My problem is with Dockers, and I wear them two or three times a week as well as when I golf. Even the one’s that are “stretchy” suck major ass. The thighs feel skin tight but the crotch looks like I stuffed my chonies with a throw pillow. I fucking hate the way I look in them and they just aren’t comfortable when I’m golfing, trying to squat and so forth.

Anybody know of another brand that makes durable-type dress pants for guys like us? I could get all my dress clothes tailored but that’s just to pricey for everyday wear.

I’ve considered wearing Dickies, but I don’t want to look like I just got out of work at the tire shop.

I have to wear slacks for work and the two brands that I like the most are Structure (bought at Sears, wtf??) and Perry Ellis(bought at Costco). They both fit good and I have decently thick thighs.

As for jeans I still have not found any that fit good in the thighs, I have recently bought a pair of just plain bootcut Levi’s and the thighs are so tight I can barely put my hands in the damn pockets. But none of the other styles fit any better. Good thing I live in AZ so I can wear shorts outside of work most of the year.

Try finding pants with a 37" seat and a 32" waist.

Add a 29" length and you have my dilemma.

Holy shit so I am not the only one, everytime I spend 60 pounds on a pair of Levi’s I end up cutting 20 pounds worth of the bottom

Your solution is obvious. Stop golfing.

For jeans, Pac Sun usually has some wider leg options, although I think they quit selling the bullhead baggy jean that fit well.

For khaki’s I like the J-crew giant fit chino’s.

I will have to check the Gap and Old navy’s online store, I didn’t think they would have anything to fit big guys.

Am I the only one that caught this? You squat with dockers khakis on? Do you also use leather flip-flops?

I mean, I have seen it done before in a bind…

No I don’t squat in Dockers. Guess I should have used a different term.

I’m talking about golf when I bend my knees a bit to hit a shot with a 9 iron or other short club.

Im guessing hes squating while golfing to get a look at the course- where to shoot haha? I dont golf so its just a guess.

Ok, this is embarassing BUT…

Still workin at it, but in my transition from 125 to 155 (this is the end of highschool, first year university)in the last year I’ve been mostly training 5x5… lots of squats, deadlifts, benching, rows, etc.

My leg size has increased from 19" to 23" in the time period, and my calves have stayed at 15". I used to buy a lot of jeans from diesel, energie, etc. All these jeans I bought for around 200$ each.

I’m damn proud to say that since I found out about T-Nation, none of my “metrosexual” jeans fit me anymore.

please don’t flame me, lol.

What evil, computer nerd related chain of events did I just start?

What is too pricey for you for custum cut pants. Would $60.00 get it for ya?

Just wear kilts.

No matter the size of the man, they always fit. Just get a longer one if you’re black.
