That’s when I made a complete lifestyle change . I completely cut out alcohol and fried foods and really started taking care of myself. I didn’t want to have to take the medicine if I could change it myself .

Thats my hope. Ive cut caffeine, sugar, salt. Already ditched 13lbs water weight. Walking 3 times a day. Doing row machine 5 miles a day. I was able to move up my cardiologist to September 20 instead of October 13. Still a long ways away so I’m just gonna keep calling every week until I can get an earlier one.

I really don’t want to be on this medication all the way until then, but I’m also pretty much too chicken to go off of it without supervision

PVCs and PACs so you were having those even after being off the medication? Is that just a result of the incident? Or did the medication cause that?

It’s really odd, but I noticed that my best days are my injection days, but is that he’s gone for the next one the anxiety gets bigger and bigger. Could this medication suppress the effects of testosterone? Did anyone here notice lower free and total in bloods? Google says it lowers Both but i wonder how that plays with TRT.

I still get PVC’s but I try not to worry about them . I def think they are are anxiety related . The part that I absolutely hate is it’s always in the back of ur mind .

I have found the more I break my shots up the better I seem to feel , I do best on daily shots which are a pain but does seem to help my anxiety. I never used to even think about my trt and let the Dr handle but now days it seems I overthink everything. I would def take the medication till I saw the cardiologist but try and not think too much about it , the more I look and think about something the worse it gets

I just discontinued my iron supplements. Was taking 65mg twice a day. Makes me wonder if that causes issues with anxiety. In the past, it had caused issues with irritability for me long before any of this started. My wife always dread whenever I took iron supplementation.

If you still get pcvs your cardiologist must notice them right? What does he seem to think about them?

Not concerned at all , I’ve wore a halter monitor for a month on several occasions and each time he said they were harmless . They are worse when my heart slows down , I regularly jog up to 7 or 8 miles with no problem and blood pressure is perfect so he basically said try and forget about them .

Hey, a question totally off topic here, did TRT do anything specific to your LIPID results?

I’ve been on trt so long that I really don’t know , the biggest change I saw was when I quit drinking and started getting into better shape . My last blood work was pretty dang good but i had really upped the cardio and completely cut out processed foods and it really made a difference.

True TRT actually improves my lipid results. Plus I’m on a statin so kinda hard to tell these days exactly. Total stays near 150 with LDL in range on TRT but LDL gets out of whack of course on my relatively low “blasts”, especially if orals utilized.

So TRT raises LDL? I’m getting lip it’s done and sort of bracing myself for that blood test tomorrow morning. I haven’t had lipids tested since right before I started testosterone and back then the lipids were damn near perfect. In fact, my HDL was five points lower than it should’ve been. 35

It’s individual - go by what your blood say. Chances are, on true TRT, you will see either improvement or slight changes. Evaluate the bloodwork and ajust - everyone is different.

Orals definitely increase LDL, but orals are not part of most (any?) legit TRT protocols.
