Hey guys, I just have a question regarding my metabolism? Nothing to really do with my current bulk but just interested in personal interest to make sure I am getting better:
I was anorexic for a year, in all after yo-yo weight (up and down 5lbs monthly) I came down to a weight of 125lbs. I’m bulking up right now, have been for about a week and a half and it’s been 100% clean except for this weekend (icecream friday night, chicken nuggets and cereal yesterday and cereal and belgian waffle today) but I just wanna know
After being in negative calorie deficit for a while (not everyday, but you can imagine) is my metabolism getting better? Caus lately I’m like always hungry I mean I was still hungry after lunch today which was:
Omelet w/ peppers
3 Bowls of Cereal (shredded wheat and cinnamon swirl or whatever, not best choice whatever)
2 cups chilli, one bread bowl
1 Belgian waffle
lol, I was starving! but still hungry afterwards, and still am now and still eating. I run cross country too but today is a rest day so yeah, but is my metabolism returning to normal after a week of eating 2800+, some days almost 4,000? Caus I mean mirror wise, I think I am looking O.K, I’ve never been happy with my physique so I can’t say anything really about that, but any comments?
And, this will not affect my bulk in any which manner, I just wanna know to make sure that I am returning to a normal state as a teenager.
Also your body after being starved for so long now you giving it food man it wants to get and store as much as it can while your giving it. It doesnt know you were mental and not feeding your self it just knows it went through a fast and now it ios getting food. It wants to get and store all it can so when and if the next fast comes it/you will survive.
When you don’t eat enough, which you didn’t, your body shuts down all kinds of “nonessential” processes, which it did.
It might be seeing the hope of actually having some nutrients for a change and figuring out it may just put some energy into your immune system, growing some muscle and all kinds of other things.
