Hey guys,
I’m wondering who uses Metabolic Drive Complete. Would it generally not be better just to use Metabolic Drive and add your own carbs when needed? Wouldn’t this be actually cheaper (a good thing, given it isn’t cheap and shipping to Canada (plus duty!) is insane) and better for you? I feel I must be missing something.
Metabolic Drive Complete is a better choice for me because I want those extra carbs and kcals.
But sure, Metabolic Drive alongside some good carbs would also work well.
Well if you want the carbs I would go for Metabolic Drive Complete. You would think it would be cheaper to add your own carbs but I thought I added it up once and it was the same price for either and you got the same amount of carbs…
Metabolic Drive Complete is my preference. I love the taste of Vanilla and sometimes add a scoop of Low-Carb Metabolic Drive Banana, Strawberry, or Orange, for variety. I like good carbs for my morning shake when carbs are needed for fuel and full energy for my upcoming weights workout. Read the article on it in the T-store for a full explanation on the quality of carbs Metabolic Drive Complete contains.
D
It’s funny. I always said that it’ll come out ‘cheaper’ if I add my own ingredients, but it really won’t. You can’t compete with economies of scale, not as an individual.
I bet Metabolic Drive Complete tastes awesome because it has carbs in it, the way Surge tastes incredible. I bought 4 tubs of Low-Carb Metabolic Drive and while I love mixing chocolate and strawberry, I wonder how good the Metabolic Drive Complete tastes on its own. I’ll have to buy a tub.
Hmm. I guess the cost thing might only be an issue for Canadians (not because of our dollar, which is even!) but because of how much shipping plus duty is on Biotest orders.
I’m 6’5 and 195 lbs., so it’s not like I don’t need calories in my diet, but I just feel more comfortable getting carbs from fruit, oatmeal, veggies, etc. I’d be afraid of overloading on carbs if having these plus real food. Thanks for the input guys.

With those stats, your best bet is Metabolic Drive Complete in addition to extra fruit and oats servings. (vegs are a given)
Also, I wouldn’t worry about “overloading on carbs” as long as you’re training hard. Basically if you aren’t asleep within 10-15 minutes of getting into bed, you need to train harder.
