I’m fine with a woman who has transitioned to a man coming into the male bathroom, and vice versa. I don’t want a gender neutral bathroom, that’s all. But if it’s the only choice, I’ll piss there.
And my point was not that the incidents are too old to matter, it’s that 1. Your calculation of the frequency of these events is strikingly inaccurate, and 2. The bathroom conversation was not taking place in 1999.
Black people were brought to the western world against their will, that is a totally different situation. On top of that, I have heard several black people object to the comparison of their struggle and the LGBT crowd. I know a lot of black people and I have yet to hear any of them say anything pro-gay or transsexual, but then again this isn’t America either.

The way I see it, if person A feels uncomfortable around person B, just because of who person B is, it’s first and foremost person A’s issue. Transgender people in and of themselves do not pose a threat to anyone else, at least not to a higher degree than “regular” males, females, white folk, black people, left-handed people or fans of curling do. There’s lots of people who make me uncomfortable, but that’s MY problem.
How does that create a totally different situation today? Is racial segregation fine for descendants of voluntary immigrants?

Societies are very much a function of where we draw lines. I really have to wonder about the people pushing for the normalization of trans* and how readily the masses drink the koolaid that trans is normal and must be accepted.
Current trends hint at the direction our societies are going and I think we ought to question where we are going and why we are going in that direction. There are consequences of normalizing behaviors.
Since homosexuality and trans has been normalized we’ve seen increases in homosexuality and trans exponentially. Having families and raising children with a solid moral foundation just doesn’t seem that important anymore.
I know this must sound quaint, but is this the kind of world you want to bring children into?

Look at who is pulling George Soros’ strings, do some more research and then come back and tell me what you think happened to Nikolai Tesla.

The biggest issue today vs past is the ability of people to find out detailed information about you then to use various techniques, tailored to you, to manipulate your will.
I don’t believe free will was ever a thing but our sophistication in controlling it and the level it can he controlled to is nothing like in the past … and it is getting better.
This is not related to the gay, trans discussion…
It’s almost like they can openly say they’re gay or trans without being persecuted for it!
It seems that way to you, because you think homosexuality is amoral. For those of us who don’t, raising children to know right and wrong (like it’s wrong to kill somebody because of who they are) is still very important.
It doesn’t sound quaint, it sounds hysterical, inflammatory, and irrational. Kind of like the far-left, in fact. Whatever era you want to have your children in, I’m sure you can share with them your perspectives on the world.

Trans people improve a society how? I am interested as I have never heard a good reason, but I’m ready to be convinced, if the argument is valid.
I’m not saying they should be treated badly, but I’m sure not going to fawn over them as special snowflakes. Everyone has their own shit to deal with. Do whatever you want but don’t automatically expect everyone to agree.
