I’ve been reading up about beta alanine and was thinking of getting some to take before training, is it any good? What results have you found with it? What sort of things have you stacked it with? and has anyone successfully made their own pre-training drinks before?
I was thinking about getting some taurine and maltodextrin/dextrose/palitanose (sp?) for the focus and energy and i’ve got some glutamine and creatine that i’m not using at the moment so I was thinking, bosh it all together with a flavouring system to throw down before training. Is there anything else I could add to this l-carnitine, green tea extract, gingko bilbao, ginseng, guarana? and more importantly, are any of my four ingredients not worth putting in? I know pre-training isn’t the best time for glutamine, but it tastes disgusting and I quite want to just get rid of it/get it into my system.
