I’ve always had significant interest in Japan, I just love the culture! Oh, and I LOVE Japanese cuisine. I can make pretty awesome okonomiyaki, if I do say so myself! I had a very good friend from Japan and I suppose that had some influence in inspiring me to become more acquainted with speaking the language. Do you live in Japan?
I used to. I was there for almost 15 years in all. I may go back in a year or so, depending on how things go. I don’t have to explain the appeal of the culture and the cuisine to you, but (not even knowing you) I will predict that if you ever went to Japan you would love it and never want to leave. I should have never left.

Oh, by the way, if you ever make it to Chushin’s home town (Chushin likes to keep his location seeeeekrit, so I can’t tell you where that is), but they make the BEST okonomiyaki there. I’ve had all types, but that’s the best, hands down.
Sadly, I have no plans of venturing there any time soon but when I do, perhaps I will be able to coax it out of him. I can’t imagine traveling almost 7000 miles and not being able to have the very BEST okonomiyaki!
Well, in the meantime,

That is too funny because I actually just bookmarked that page last night!

I’ll do you one better.

My wife and I will take you to the best of the best places here. :-)
Okay Maya and I will take you up on that next year maybe.

I have too many things going on right now that you know about. But I think we both would love to visit Japan.

Lol, well next year is our 15 year anniversary I think she wants to go to Hawaii but that just seems so over done. Got to ask her what she thinks about a trip to Japan.

Even though she knows my weakness for Asian women she maybe okay with it

Do you ever make trips back home?

You can always point out the fact that there are many Asian women in Hawaii too!

I did more or less the same, only in reverse. 10 adolescent girls.

What an education that was! LOL.
You’re a therapist too?

Yes. We’re all gathered here from across the globe to try to make some headway with orion. He’s proving resistant.

The mental health workers - definitely not the same breed as a the men I’ve worked with in outpatient, who were such really lovely human beings that there was safety for them, too, to some degree. At my last agency there were two attacks on persons (and another couple of generalized violent behavior episodes). One was on a woman, one a man. Both worked with adults and both coworkers, to be perfectly honest, were a little annoying. Especially the guy. But her, too, in her way.

I never attacked them, though. Just to be clear.

I can confirm that psychiatric nurses are lovely people. I had one who I swapped punk rock with.

I’m still trying to figure out how - it’s confusing.
