Mean Bastards

For the most part I think that this site is actually more tame than you would expect a bodybuilding/strength site to be. I’m actually surprised by how sensitive many testosterone-filled dudes on this site are. I also think that most of the negative comments that go on are just busting someone’s balls. Just goofin, with no harm intended.

We do however have different opinions and sometimes that brings out a lot of passion and names get thrown around. I do that myself sometimes. But the intent is really not to put down the other person, but more more to just say; Hey butt-head pay attention to what I’m saying and my point.

As Harris stated, I never throw the first stone, and try not to throw any back either. But sometimes a few just slip out of my hands anyway.

But overall, people need to just chill! This site is not as serious as some may believe, it’s just entertainment, nothing more.

Lastly, I think you are all fat, jailbirds, who can’t lift shit, have problems spelling, and are religious gays!

Hey Rockscar…
Ive gotta tell you that because of your finger pointing avatar picture I get this creepy feeling that your looking at me when you post something my way. It’s pretty weird.
It actually gives your messages a bit of oomph. Hahaha. Like your yelling it out.

My thoughts exactly when I made it! Glad to see it’s effective!

Only a true Nancy boy would be so concerned about his spelling that he went that far. Pathetic.

This thread has injured my delicate sensitivities. I’m leaving for good!!! Damn you, T-Nation…and all of you other meanies as well. I fart in your general direction and hope your camels die a thousand deaths in the blazing sun of the Sahara. That last part came from some old movie about the Arabian knights, but damn it, it fits!

I will not apologize for this, ever.

To quote from a book that has withstood the test of time: “Let he who is without sin cast the first stone.” I like that thought, and I will not cast the first stone.

But, once the first stone is cast, a motherfucking boulder should be dropped on that fucktard’s head.

Now how the hell did you ever figure out that I was reffering to you?
Oh that’s right Harris. It was you who ridiculed Fat Tony for being an ex con fatass orca loser and a weakling who can only lift a 50lb. dumbell.
You managed to insult him on three different levels in one post.
Hmmm. If he wrote something you disagreed with then you definately have every moral right for rebuttal but attacking his physical attributes when you know he’s making an effort to better himself is just plain wrong.
C’mon man. I know your smarter than that and some of your posts I can agree with but you went a tad left of good taste this time. I never have a problem taking critisism and dishing it out. I think that if this forum became too PC I and many of the members would lose interest so debate and even a little aggresiveness is fine. I just think you could have done it a little better that’s all.
I guess it’s like that cartoon drawing of Mohammed everyone is whining about.
Could they post it. Yes they can. Should they have done it? I doubt it.

Honestly, if I could have insulted him on 19 different levels, I would have.

I am thoroughly sick and tired of “faggot” and “deviant” being thrown around on these boards.

I would be just as aggrieved if “kike” or “nigger” was used so casually.

Now, am I perfect? FUUUUUUCK, no. I’ve had problems with drugs and alcohol. Shitty relationships with women. Used to shoplift in high school. (Books, and only from chain stores, but it’s still wrong.)

So, knowing this, I don’t believe I’ve ever been the first to pass jusgement on anyone on this board.

But, when I see someone with hatred and stupidity emanating–unbidden–from their very core, then I will come down on them like Mjolnir, mystical hammer of Thor.

More specifically, when someone comes onto this board crowing about taking speed and considering gastric bypass to lose the weight he gained sitting on his ass with a federally-mandated piece of jewelery around his ankle…well, when that guy calls my friends and family “faggots” and “deviants” and “perverts”…

Well, fuck him.

And, Grey, for our political differences, I know you’re a smart guy, too. I think you’ve picked the wrong side in this argument.
I think I have definately gotten in over my head in this little debate. I just do not for the life of me understand why there is so much protection of gays. Look…I never give them a second thought…it’s a preference like if somebody likes a tall woman or like Testonly fat ugly ones.

At the end of the day it’s not that important a subject. Lately there seems to be such crazy publicity in and around this subject. Gay marriage…gay rights…gay adoption of children…gay awareness…
I think I will sidestep this issue as much as possible.

I recieved an e-mail from an exgirlfriend of mine in Italy last week.
You know what she told me? She said she was in a disco in Descenzano and got it on with two other females. This is a girl who I had slept with and believe me she is one hot number. She has decided to try being a lesbian.
I asked her why? She replied that being gay is all the rage in Europe these days and finding the right guy is impossible cause they are all idiots(except me of course).

Homosexuality is in. Hetero is old school and boring.
I give up.

Oh and Harris. Thanks for the compliment and I return the same.
Oh and I promise not to make any derogatory remarks about gays.
Probably if my brother or family friend was gay I’d get pissed off like you do.

I agree with this. The demonic issue raised deserved some stone throwing. It may need a burning at the stake just to be sure all of the demons are gone.

Burn him at the stake. Call him an idiot as well but keep the fat and weak comments to yourself.
I’ll bet that a large number of posters here fall into the “fat” category…or do you think that everyone who reads this forum is in top shape? Hardly.

I’m not fat but I don’t think some of the other guys enjoyed that exchange. I actually winced when I read it.

Fat Tony tried to make a joke. Maybe it was and maybe it wasn’t funny. That is up to personal taste.

Harris attacked him tooth and nail…why is it that you guys protect the rights of gays and allow the slandering of religion? I think that if you’re allowed to make fun of all religions then making fun of gays should be fair game as well. For fuck sakes it’s only a sexual preference. Shit, we have people here that advocate turning all the Arab nations into a nuclear wasteland.

Lets have an even playing field gentlemen.
There is making fun–which I am all in favor for–and then there is this:

Fat Tony wrote:

"As a Christian, it’s an abomination. it goes against God and goes against His creation and purpose.

If you are a fag, great. Congratulations. Don’t make a fuss about it. Don’t have a (coming out) party. My son likes boobs, where is his party?"

The humor is where?

And if you’re gonna call others abominations becuase you’re a “Christian”, shouldn’t you follow the tenets of the religion? Like the “Thou shall not steal” part?

And as for the fat comments, they would have been kept to myself had he not blathered about wanting to combat them with drugs and surgery.

I won’t apologize; nothing to feel remorse about.

I have noticed this as well and it just seems uncool, at some point in everyone’s life they have been made fun of and im willing to bet that it didnt feel very good,i have made fun of people before but i have always tried to do it in a manner in which the person knew that it was in good fun and not a hateful action, even when people ask “stupid” questions they should be answer if the person knew the answer they wouldnt have asked the question.

helpful comments need to be made not you a, fucking dumbass, god can you really be that stupid,i cant believe your mom didnt flush you. shit like that is way way uncool.try to be nice to everyone you never know when they will be the ones you need help from.Ill step off my soap box now …anyone need to borrow it for a bit?

As I prepare for an appointment with my attorney for an expungement.

Part of me says- “I’m a different person now. Why should I be suffer for something I’ve allready been punished for?” .

While another part says-" You got away with a lot more than you got caught for, and you did in fact do it.".

Most recent kick in the nuts- Got turned down for a very nice career opportunity after a great interview went south in light of the H.R. departments crminal background investigation.

Oh well, Gotta do the best you can with what you have.
I was a correctional officer in Texas for almost 5 years before joining the military, are there bad people in prison? yes there most certainly are very very bad people but there are also good people who made a mistake and got caught and now they paying for it with there freedom, people say con’s have it made in prison they get the meals free ,there medical free, college free, yes they do but im here to tell you it is not a place that any well adjusted person would want to go.

I myself have done some stuff i tend to think of ask bad things in my life and if i had gotten caught i might be in prison but i didnt get caught. No one knows the reason for what a person does except for the person who did the crime. I look at it this way if you do a crime and go to prison get out and rejoin sociaty as a productive member then the fact that you were a convict should have no merrit other than in a court room if you mess up again.

I have spent many a weekend in county jail for fighting or assult or just stupid shit like that in my youth, i could have very easily been put in prison but i was givin a chance to reform ,just because someone else might not have been givin that same chance they should not have to pay for it after there debt is clear.

ok ill get off my soap box now.

Ever heard that saying about people in glass houses?

It goes: “People in glass houses shouldn’t throw tube steak boogies.”

Harris I think you take “making fun” a little too far sometimes or else I interpert it that way and if you’re gonna say some of the stuff you do well other people are gonna say stuff that pisses you off.

I think part of the problem has to do with some on these threads acting out what they wouldn’t dare say to your face.

They are mostly cowards.

Others, say things that are totally out of line on these threads because they truly don’t know any better.

They are mostly kids

Still others have a certain political agenda and if you get in the way of that politically correct thought process they will say anything that they can in order to belittle you.

They are usually extreme liberals

Thats actually pretty ironic…

I’m in high school, and this past weekend there were racial fights where one kid ended up being stabbed. Today, in school, there were 3 different brawls between the racial groups of the kids who fought this weekend. There were cops roaming our school all day, and about 15 kids were arrested.

Its retarded how society is today, or at least the people in society who can dig deep enough to find hate in someone else just because of who they are.

For T-Nation… I read only a little bit of the “opinions on muslims” thread and thought it was absurd. How can you form an opinion on someone without meeting them? Every person is different and anyone who thinks they can form an opinion on someone based on what religion, what the look like, or whatever classification they put them under is an ignorant jackass.

I have a friend from Spain who says many of the guys are gay because the women are devout Catholics and don’t put out till married, so they go after the ass.
Can’t confirm or deny this.

Here in Wales…being gay is still not cool though, maybe it will be next year, I don’t know.

I agreed up to the last part. There are just as many conservatives that are just as bad. To say that its just extreme liberals is ridiculous.

I’ve said it over and over though. The politics forum is a politics forum- it is brutal, sometimes nasty, and sometimes outright petty. But if you don’t dig it, talk politics somewhere else.

I try to stay above personal attacks, but it happens sometimes. Whatever. Its just the damn internet.
