Man vs. Food

Thanks guys for the input.

A dollar burger has 30g protein and 300 cals. I ate like 15 of those a week for a month.
great gains…

  1. I loved reading this post. Made me lol every now and then.

  2. Just eat. Like Dave Tate used to say ‘Nutrition is over rated’. You know…eating once in a while at McDonalds is not gonna kill ya. I Prefer Burger King tough. More generous portions. I go once every um, what, 2 months?

The host of a “cooking” show where the guy visits different countries and tries their food. Pretty entertaining.

His show is called “No reservations”.

I believe No Reservations is far from a cooking show as Anthony rarely cooks in them. Its more about his experience in other countries with focus being placed on the quisine and culture of the country. Entertaining and educational really. Bourdain is more borderline philosopher than chef, IMO.

That’s why cooking was in " “. You asshole, here i am trying to be helpful and you tear me down.
Fuck dis :”(

You can’t be serious mate. If you are, my bad. [/quote]

Nah, just joking :stuck_out_tongue:

Not to be a ball buster, but it’s “moot point”

Well written story though. Very entertaining.

EDIT:

Now that I read the rest of the thread let me be clear before mister interwebs critic busts my balls for liking OP’s story and calling it “well written.”

Oh wait, for what it was, it was well written.

Sorry, noticed that as well. I typed that portion at 70wpm or something, lol (back in my computer, D & D, Dragonball/Anime, nerd days I’ve was as fast as 80) , and was basically getting my thoughts down as fast as humanly possible.

Thanks again for the input guys. It makes me strive to write another one for those few that enjoyed and correct flaws pointed out by those that didn’t. Cheers.

Well written piece Growing Boy,

I have had my own stories with McDowell’s (comedic reference from the movie Coming to America.) You never know what you will get when you walk in, other than the fried oil smell, and record number of land whales that occupy the space within the place. Any time I eat there I know I will feel ill and lethargic afterwards. Probably my body’s way of letting me know not to eat that slop. I do think as previously mentioned, that eating there every once in a blue moon wouldn’t kill anyone.
