I don’t know why people have the idea that Subway is a bad place to eat.

Sure, Jarrod’s a douche, but before I got braces, a foot long roast beef with provaone, lettuce, tomato, pepperocini, extra pickles, and vinegar and oil with extra vinegar was my favorite food.

I hate McDoonDoon’s because their food taste like ass - but I can mow down a sack full of mustard whoppers from the BK Lounge.

hey RJ (we meet again…muahaaha…the grass fed beef thing…)

Subway is pretty good compared to all the rest out there even if the better sandwiches taste quite bland. but from the perspective that they promote health and then sell bread w/ HFCS in it and if i am trying to gain some muscle i would look to better sources for my CHO. and they rip you off with the meat quantity big time IMO (3.5 oz/ 6 inch sub!!)
I’m 5"10 and 238lbs. as of this morning.

I think the Subway does just fine for carbs.

I think people over-analyzie the shit out of things that reall don’t make a damn bit of difference in the big picture.

So the bread has corn syrup in it. Big deal. Why is that a horrible thing? It’s like all of a sudden people hate corn.

3.5 oz. of cooked meat versus 4 oz. precooked weight of a quarter pounder. I’m eating a footlong RB - that’s 50+ grams of protein.

Tell me again what to watch out for?

I know, I’m in shock to.

Can we like, make a support group or something? You know… to help us recover from the shock…

Well…they put the sandwich in a…wait for it…PLASTIC BAG after you order. What if your ordered a relatively warm sandwich and now you have ESTROGEN in your Subway.

Ever thought about that?! Huh?!

And what if the meat for that sandwich was made from a cow that had been given…GASP…growth hormone injections?!

You all can die if you want to, but I’m only eating hand cooked tofu from now on.

Oh, and muscles suck!

motto…lol! wtf. Yes, I meant moot.

OMFG. I never thought I’d see the day Professor X would say this, even in jest. I’m taking a screenshot and having it framed.

I had braces at 30-32.

There is one thing to be said about Mc Donalds:

When they tightened those braces I could still chew a cheeseburger.

That meant a lot to me.

lol at the estrogen from the plastic bag, give it some time and people will actually be makeing this argument.

Good God this never ends.

Even Justin-really good damn nutritionist and accomplished individual-Harris says people should start off eating things like quote “A chicken sandwhich from subway instead of their usual McDonald’s and fries”.

The man this thread was originally about the average population IS NOT A FUCKING BODYBUILDER/HARDCORE TRAINER etc etc that so many of the stick figures and skinny-fat’s around here act like. Those people just need to MAKE SOME BETTER NUTRITIONAL CHOICES and subway, mcdonalds salads, etc etc are all better choices than the norm. YES EVEN IF IT HAS FUCKING HIGH FRUCTOSE CORN SYRUP.

Stop belittling people just because they immediately go from eating like the average sedentary fatass to a precontest bodybuilder. That isn’t fucking sustainable for most of these people.

Baby steps.

Telling a fat person to eat like everyone around here claims (topic for another thread) to eat, is like trying to get a baby to sprint before it can fucking crawl.

Self-righteous fucks who again will not post pictures of their astounding physiques.

 1. He’s still fat

 2. I bet he’s just a smaller version of the fat guy he was. No more muscle, no smaller %bf.
He went from 280 to 200 and his waist size went from 50 to 36. There’s no way he had that much muscle to lose in the first place. He may still be pretty chubby and have no more muscle, but his body fat percentage is definitely lower.

Absolutely nothing… it’s my choice to try and minimize stuff like that in the food i eat.
Like the guy above mentioned…baby steps…I gained some knowledge about something and now i choose to avoid it because i think i am better off without it…

P.S. i love corn…it’s the 130 derivatives of it i avoid.
