Mayonaise Substitute

I was wondering if anybody knew a good mayo substitute for making deviled eggs. Also, I’m low-carbing right now. Thanks in advance.

The most similar thing would be Miracle Whip Light, which has about 20 calories per serving, about 2g of carbs.

But I un-recommend it at the same time, it has HFCS and is not remotely clean. Soybean oil, etc.

Make your own mayo… i assume it would be low carb…

actually i thought mayo was low carb…

Real mayo is very low carb.

Ricotta cheese?

Why do you not want to use regular mayonnaise? Is it because of the soybean oil, or are you doing low fat in addition to low carb?

Cottage cheese can work in deviled eggs, and is a lower fat option. You can make your own mayonnaise with olive oil. It’s pretty easy to make. I’d use extra light, though, as it has a more neutral flavor.

Is mayo not just basically raw eggs with oil mixed up?

Actually, I was asking this to see if there was a lower calorie sub that would also be fairly clean and healthy. I’ll probably use real mayo and just eat less deviled eggs. And as for me asking for “low-carb” stuff, I wanted the alternative to be low carb…

I was pretty sure mayo was low-carb, but thanks for confirming it. Thank you all for your input.

There’s mayo made with grapeseed oil, and other healthy fats at whole foods
