I’ll still vote that hard-core ripping diets are best for dudes who’ve already hit 10-12% bf. You can get totally decent results, with a lot less mental anguish, by just getting rid of the garbage food and partitioning the carbs. It’s way easier on the brain. But then again, some guys just don’t think results are possible unless they’re suffering…

I am a sadist and an all or nothing guy. When I diet it has to be strict, I can rationalize too many cheat meals. I will stay strict until mid May, then try “moderation” which never works out. Drives my wife nuts she cant understand this. In her mind she can have one drink and moderate meal. Hell I want 3 drinks and nachos, steak, bread, potatoe.

Anyway Matty you have to go by how you feel man, you dont look like you need to diet to me.

Exactly. This is why I gave up the Anabolic Diet. I would be completely fine during the weekdays being under 30 grams of net carbs. But on the weekends, the second something touched my lips that wasn’t oatmeal (i.e. Poptart, pizza, etc.) LOOK OUT! Lol

Yea, work week I am great, Friday night drink to relax after work week turns into 3-4. Saturday wife wants to go out to eat, cool. Bring me a steak, with a tator fully loaded. Oh yea we need more bread at the table with the special butter also a dinner salad. Oh yea My 3rd long Island is dry can you bring me another. FML. All or none I just cant learn to pump the brakes.

I guess because for most of us the work week is more regimented. I sit in my shit cubicle with protein power, carrots and shit tons of coffee, im good, the weekend IT IS ON! Checkers CHECK, pizza CHECK, DIRTY WHISKEY CHIZECK! and then sunday I say to myself I really gotta stop going crazy on the food, I was doing ok for a while having a cheat day, but the days have been turning into a 3 day bender…I do like the idea of shakes in the morning and carb partitioning, I have no delusions, I dont want to get super ripped and honestly dont have the will to (much respect Larry!) but some fat loss would definitely be nice…its up to me, and like I said its the fucking weekends…
