Hey all, figured I might as well do this, gives me something to do and whatnot. Started 5/3/1 yesterday after doing about 3 months on Starting Strength and seeing the gains slowing down a lot. I actually took a break from 531 for about 3 weeks or so and did Starting Strength at the recommendation of a friend. He thought I was still making beginner strength gains and could progress more on that, and I did for that time period. Bumped my squat up to 315x7, so really pleased I went that route. This will be my third cycle, week 1. I like it a a lot, especially since I can manipulate the accessory work to my desires.
