You expect someone taking estrogen and displaying female secondary sex characteristics to assume safety in the men’s room? And again, why do you care so much?
As for your mom and a nude Kroc at the beach, well, I personally am uncomfy with that kind of public nudity regardless of gender and have in fact never witnessed it. But if this change is coming, and I’m okay with that being a likely outcome, I suppose I imagine that it all becomes more like Europe in that a penis or vagina may be expected on public beaches and no one cares or reacts, including children and including your mother. When I took my Texas-raised kids to a vacation spot with a big gay presence I made sure they understood what they might see. And they DID see it and it all worked out fine. I’d do the same if we were going to a synagogue or a church with a “speaking in tongues” element, I’d do it if we were going to see someone on a cancer ward or in a nursing home.
I’d much rather explain Kroc’s dick than our old neighbor’s stage IV cancer, frankly.

Don’t most men’s rooms have stalls now? One or two?
I’m not suggesting removal of urinals.
“Minding your own business” is a little different at a urinal than in a stall.
I assume people who are lacking standard male equipment will utilize the stalls. People utilizing the urinals are probably going to exit the room as quickly as possible, given the likelihood that a stall-user is getting ready to stink the place up. So it all works out.
That’s only one direction of privacy. Privacy is a 2 way street.

Just an observation, but it’s funny how a few years agoo I was ridiculed and called everything in the book because I stated that keeping guns unlocked and within easy access (under couch cushions and what not) was unnecessarily dangerous, and that there are plenty of options to heep the gun handy and kids safe.
Now with pee-pees its all about the women and children, to keep them safe. Like, if you don’t have guns stashed all over the house, you’re a pussy, but if someone pulls out a pee pee in the wrong room then there will be scars for life and unprecedented danger.

I’m saying that if someone identifies as male and behaves as male legally, but you feel that there is something woman about it all and it makes you uncomfortable, you should leave. If it makes you feel threatened you should report the potentially criminal behavior.
How are you going to handle what appears for all the world to be a woman in your restroom? Will you assume a penis? Wait, staring, for her to cozy up to the urinal and pull out a penis? This isn’t uncomfortable for you? What about her?

I’m generally not passive-aggressive - I don’t think the insult is veiled much at all, and I mean it in all sincerity. It strikes me as a lot of pearl-clutching over nothing. Rape = violation, false accusations of rape or molestation = violation, infidelity or dishonesty from someone close = violation, home invasion = violation. Having to alternate men and women in the bathroom at a concert or sporting event without ample facilities does not, to me, constitute much of a violation.
I would imagine that the intent of the hoped-for changes will be to legitimize and de-stigmatize TG people, with acceptance being the long term goal. I’m not privy to their agenda, understand. This is merely my best guess.
