Matt Kroc Transitions to Janae Kroc

personally i do not care if someone is ,trans,gender fluid,gay ,lesbian,gender neutral
it has no effect on my daily life
but{i love that word}
the laws are starting to get really stupid on this
in the military pt test, you currently have womens standards mens standards,
day of pt test if a man declares he is a woman
which standard applies{gender fluid} a person can be a man today a woman tomorrow man next week

if i was an intelligent man{which i am not I CAVEMAN}[quote=“pushharder, post:1093, topic:210559”]
Simpleness. Fairness. Pragmatism.

if i was a liberal { which i am not I CAVEMAN}
DID I WIN

Well, much focus has been on safety, hence my addressing of women. I have also mentioned several times that people without penises will be challenged by a urinal and will probably slide right into a stall. If the person - penis-haver or not - stands staring at you, you have a gender-unrelated problem. If it were me, I’d leave. You may be big enough and physically confident enough to confront the situation. TG laws would not seem to have much to do with that.

Because it is impossible to tell (without requiring people to drop trou and show their goods to a state-appointed BR attendant) whether a masculine-appearing individual is a FTM trans (newly required to use the Women’s restroom under NC law) or a cis-gendered male, the same is true under the ‘use the BR of your birth certificate sex’ law passed in NC.

I would go farther and say that, absent extraordinary circumstances, it would be a reasonable compromise to codify that anyone whose gender expression is plainly male should use the Men’s room (and for anyone whose gender expression is clearly female to use the Ladies room).

Indeed. Welcome to the real world.

Sez you.

In fact, the opposite.

Speaking for myself, I don’t vote on a single issue. I don’t spend any of my time at pro-life rallies. I’m personally pro-life in most instances, but IMO, Roe V Wade is here to stay.

For me, it’s a lot more pragmatic to support new laws like the one in CA that makes BC available to women from a pharmacist, after filling out a health questionnaire. No doctor appointment or Rx needed unless you have some health issue. I think policies like that are more pragmatic if we really want to reduce unnecessary abortion. You could take a stand against some of the more extreme or callous practices that go on and try to effect change there. Or talk about services available through county health offices like this one, and think about ways to improve services for poor women. Sexual Health Matters | Tri-County Health Department - Official Website. I’d be much more likely to work on those kinds of issues than to try to overturn Roe v. Wade.

As for same-sex marriage, I took an Elton John stance that we should have civil unions, even lets have our laws the same with civil unions for everybody at the court house. Lets let people enter into legal contracts. Then let people do what they want in a church if they choose. Let churches draw lines to protect religious freedom, but lets make sure that any protections or privileges are available to same-sex couples as well. The Supreme Court ruled on it. I accept the decision, and it’s not something I’m spending any mental energy on.

end threadjack about Puff’s super interesting political thoughts. I’d put a smiley emoticon here, but I hate the new enormous ones.
