Matt Furey

At least Matt Furey doesn’t send me endless pieces of promotional hype in the mail and email just bcause I purchased one product from his company. Am I ever sorry I ordered from that guy. (Guess who

Bad experience with a commercial gym? What did someone throw some free weights at them? In my experience no one says anything to me at the gym, besides asking if anyone is using a particular weight.

cap’nsalty,

When I said bad experience, I mean injuries from exercising with weights due to whatever reason(s) e.g. One has been taught a bad form by the supposed-to-know-it-all personal trainer etc.

No, I think ZEB is talking about Pavel. Dargondoor’s products are well known of the amount of advertising, although the core information is pretty good.

Bingo!

Marketing is one thing, harassment is quite another.

btw, I’ve found most of Furey’s stuff on p2p networks, fwiw.

Have you ordered from Furey recently? It’s not as bad as some spam but still we’re talking about at least two or three emails a day. Again probably not anywhere near as some other people but enough promotional crap to make me unsubscribe(something i should have done anyway). Still like his products though.

just out of curiosity which p2p are you refering to?

I am also interested in p2p stuff. Let’s face it, there’s lots of interesting ebooks out there, and I really don’t feel like paying.
Ha!
Too bad my PM thing doesn’t work. Wait I haven’t checked, so I will now…

No, the last time I ordered anything from Furey was back in 98. Then it was not a problem.

Limewire mostly, but also Ares

I haven’t bought anything by Furey so I can’t comment on that. I have read several articles by him. Of course, free weights being useless is silly. But just for introducing me to the “Hindu” squat I have to commend him. I love the fact that I can be anywhere and do these and get a workout. I like to do a workout outside supersetting chins and pushups or dips for five sets or so and then Hindu squats and hanging leg raises for five sets. It’s a nice full-body change of pace workout.

Very true. the Hindu squat, Hindu pushup workout is awesome.

Has anyone here tried the backbridge and had success with it? Several months back I was doing it and, while I was able to touch my nose to the floor pretty easily, I developed neck pain that didn’t go away for months.
