Yeah, this is probably pretty simple, but I’m just getting stuck on it.
I can’t figure out how the 6/(3(sq rt 13)/13) changes into the 2(sq rt 13)
I hope I wrote this out properly. I can get it to a certain point but then the dots just aren’t connecting for me.
I’ve got it highlighted in the pic.
If you can show the work that would be great.
I’m doing some prep work for uni in September.
Thanks.

ok post attempt round 2 lol
x/(y/z) = x * z/y
6/((3rt13)/13)= 6x13/3rt13
6/3 simps to 2
13/sqrt13 = sqrt 13
hope that helps
Fist you can reduce by dividing 6 by 3 to get the 2 at the top
This levee you with 2/(root13)/13
Now multiply top and bottom by 13 to get 2*13/(root13)
now multiply top and bottom to get 2(root13)
This works because 13 = (root13) * (root13)
So dividing 13 by (root13) = (root13)
Sorry if some of the steps seem trivial but I wasn’t sure how much math knowledge you have
Hope this helps

No need to, just use this thread.

a=x
a+a+a=a+x+x
3a=a+2x
3a-3x=a+2x-3x=a-x
3(a-x)=(a-x)
3=1
pretty worthless post indeed
come at me bro
