50mg mast weekly vs 50mg proviron daily?
Proviron has an oral bioavailability of 3%, thus 50mg/day orally would equate to getting 10.5 mg base hormone weekly… however it appears even this is enough to create an aesthetic, cosmetic enhancement when lean?
Proviron when used in high dosages (according to literature at about 150mg/day) does quite a number on ones lipid profile.
@kebss I’ve used mast, on 200mg mast I had low E2 esque symptoms (dry, achy, clicking joints particularly). Aside from this there was SOME acne, but nothing compared to what I’d get on test or dbol, personally I didn’t find it to be as strong an androgen as many say it is. In relation to test, mast doesn’t make me sprout body hair everywhere at a rapid pace… certainly more androgenic than say nandrolone or dbol, but a far cry off test (for me that is)
The methyl group in the 2nd carbon position vs mesterolones methyl group in the 1st carbon position makes it differ from proviron in that it has no affinity for 3-HSD. Mesterolones affinity for 3-HSD means within skeletal muscle it’s broken down into very weak/mostly inactive (in terms of sheer hypertrophic stimuli) “diol” metabolites. Mast bypasses this and thus exerts more than a mere cosmetic effect (has a strong impact on the size of muscle fibres too)… still not the best for bulking up
