Its actually dopamine, though some research suggests serotonin may play a role within the pathophysiology of ADHD/ADD
In laymens terms stimulants (mixed amphetamine salts, dextroamphetamine and methylphenidate are the three big ones) predominantly stimulate the release of dopamine, therefore creating an even playing field for people with ADHD/ADD

All things being considered, donāt rule out experimenting with more test. Say 200-225mg per week.
Only you can weigh the positives and negatives, but I believe you might find what youāre looking for libido wise, while minimizing health risks.

Hello Demon Thrall (awesome nickname), seems like this will be the path Iām going to try. More T Enanthate (100 mg E3D = 230) and try to get my E2 dialed in to see how I wil feel. If I have more Total T, donāt lose a lot to excess aromatisation wouldnāt this be equal to more DHT?
Every one is different with how much theyāll aromatize to e2, and how much converts to DHT.
You will find out if you feel better long before e2 and DHT sides add up. In my experience (ymmv) I can feel mood differences in 1-2 weeks, while e2 sides can take up to 6 weeks to show.
Regardless, itās not a bad idea to have a bit of AI on hand.
If youāre already on 100-150mg a week, it wonāt be as shocking to the body as going from no TRT to 230mg a week.
I have to agree here with this , I have helped many with PFS and PTSD and crazy Kratom and marijuana use and most suffer from libido or EQ in which regular trt doses donāt help and we need to increase androgen load and free test and high DHT in the end you need high free test for libido and EQ whatās his E2 at and his SHBG also could be prolactin related as trt can raise that too bring in
P5P at 50mg 3 times a week and add in tadalifiil at 5mg daily for back up and better libido and EQ you have to attack this at angles most donāt , DHEA also works and fixes most trt issues also take 20mg am and 20mg at night add in Zinc super important for nitric oxide conversion and DHT conversion! He can also trying test cream and prop daily cream in the am 20mg of prop at night
This is what primo does to most people who are paying close attention to their experience (excludes most bodybuilders). Not a great lifestyle drug, not going to improve your well-being.
You asked why. I would guess either aromatase inhibition, which often has the same adverse effects (regardless of serum E2) or competitive blocking of the more potent androgen DHT at the androgen receptor, or both.

Iād guess itās the inhibition of estrogen and the CNS frying dht derived AAS often tend to cause long term
If you listen to Thomas O Connor who probably knows more about the nature of illicit AAS use relative to 99% of doctors (or licit depending on what country you live in)
He mentions how many of his male patients on drugs like primo or mast long term wind up with CNS overstimulation⦠I feel the same way on higher doses of test
Like if you push my free testosterone up above the top of the ref range I can generally feel something isnāt right⦠Iāll feel āwiredā in an amped up, tweaked out, canāt sit still kind of way⦠thereās a pharmacological explanation for this, most if not all AAS induce a dose dependent upregulation of your sympathetic nervous system.
Iāve noticed synthetic derivatives (note havenāt touched anything in years) also imparted this effect albeit generally to a lesser extent
All had an impact on my overall demeanor/behaviour⦠the idea that anabolic steroids donāt exert any effect on behaviour/they just amplify pre existing traits is BS imo. They absolutely csn change behavioral patterns particuarly in those genetically predisposed
And some are genetically wired in a way where they actually feel better while on this stuff
I find it hard to believe anyone could feel healthier/better all round on cycle
Rather I believe many deceive themselves into believing theyāre the best version of themselves on cycle because they have better workouts in the gym while on⦠they look better and the cosmetic effects a lot of people notice on gear can be pretty rad.
