Mass Gain Log

Ok, thought I’d start a log considering whenever I start a mass gain program I usually give up and don’t record my progress!

My current stats are:
5ft6
67kgs Bodyweight
100kg bench
140kg squat
170kg deadlift

I’ll be following Dan John’s article mass made easy purely because I can never stick to bodybuilding type programs for gaining weight and the idea of high rep squats and a good weight progression in the 5/3/1 format sounds appealing.

However, for the next 2 to 3 weeks I’ll be doing a full body workout twice a week and circuit training twice a week to increase my fitness for those high rep squats. Also, as a student after a heavy Christmas of drinking and eating I feel incredibly unfit and could do with a bit of a training shake up.

With regards to my nutrition I get college meals 3 times a day, am supplementing with Maximuscle Cyclone and can throw in one or two extra meals as necessary throughout the day.

Let’s hope I can stick to this!
