Mass Effect (X-Box 360)

Although this game hasn’t received that much hype, I have been waiting for it for over a year. It came out today and I have to say it is awesome so far. The creators of the game are the same folks that did the original Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, and Mass Effect is very similar. The big differences, other than the enhanced next-gen gameplay, are the controls and the POV. The POV is 3rd person and the controls, while more complex, seem to draw from Gears of War.

Another difference is that you control your squad in a way that is somewhat similar to Rainbow Six: Las Vegas, although you can’t directly control your squad’s position like in Rainbow Six. Bioware has definitely built on their strength as action/RPG masters and they also borrowed from some of the best of the other big developers. If you like action/RPG check it out.

Damn I thought this was going to be the first bodybuilding game.

I remember that bonus mini-game in the old Mortal Kombat where you’d break shit.

I always imagined weightlifting games being like that. And you get bonus points for form, which you can use to buy powder clak, a belt and such.

I would do that, but the KFC is open 24hrs here.

Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, you could bench at a couple of different locations. All you had to do was hit ‘A’ again and again I think. And depending on what weight you set it at, he would get bigger/smaller

I just bought it yesterday and have put in about 2.5 hours. Awesome game so far, bioware has yet to let me down.
