Yes. Beat it, keep your save, and then purchase the 2nd one.

I trusted you on Book of Eli, so I will trust you here…

Does it make a huge difference whether you import your old saves or not?

I started it up last night, entered the codes for the extras, and then realized that my nephew had changed my profile to his.

So now I’m stuck between new character and dlc, or old character but no dlc (at least not the stuff that’s already been downloaded.

I started up with the new character and put in an hour and a half. Impressed so far.

havent played the first one, do i need to in order to play this one??

i never played the first one either, but i bought this one and have been playing for a couple hours, im a level 9 Soldier, and the game is sick! story line is pretty cool, im not really into the Sci Fi shit but this game works for me! lots of cool stuff to do…i wish there was some more customizations available, like weapons and stuff, but the armor customization is cool…im really impressed with the game and i cant wait to get out of work and play! haha

also…after a sick workout, coming home and sipping on a protein shake and playing this game is perfect for recovery = ) i deadlifted 350 for 10 2 days ago, and thats exactly what i did!

How is the shooting on this one compared to the first?

NO.

It’s awesome. They totally revamped the shooting - it feels almost like Gears of War - just perfectly tuned, satisfying shooting mechanics…

And of course, combined with biotics, explosives and special ammo - the combat overall is incredibly fun!

Wait the fuck up …

I have a PS3 …

Does this mean …

FUCK FUCK FUCK

LISTEN!!!

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PLAY THE FIRST MASS EFFECT TO ENJOY MASS EFFECT 2

Here’s a benefit of carrying over the save from Mass effect 1 to Mass effect 2:

-My character saved the Universe and is famous
-Characters from the past games remember the shit I did for them and love me for it, for Example: Wrex
-The chick I banged in the first one still has a thing for me and now she runs a city, which gives me benefits

The cool ass stuff you do in the first game carry over to the 2nd game, but they are more often subtle. Some are pretty obvious.

Mass Effect 1 is a kick ass game.

Mass Effect 2 is a kick ass game and fixes the flaws that first one had.

Wol, can you get back together with whomever you had your romance with in the first one?

Also, does Ms. Engineer-with-reverse-jointed-legs finally take her damned helmet off?

Must resist temptation to buy a new PC just for this game…

I’ve yet to get that far. I’ve been busy mining planets and doing side quests.

I think Tali might take her helmet off, but I haven’t gotten to her planet yet.

Its a kick ass game, but don’t go into debt for it. But if you can steal, I suggest you steal.

What class would you recommend playing as.

Depends on you. I prefer being able to use energy blasts and weapons. So I’m a Vanguard. I can use Shotguns, Pistols, and I can use a Energy moves that allow me to toss enemies into the air or charge at them at full speed and kill them.

Infiltrator-Sniper Rifles and Pistols. His power is based around Stealth. He can turn himself totally invisible from Enemy sight,

Adepts and Engineers are mostly Power users, they have no real skills in weapons or armor.

Then there’s Soldier class. Basically you can use all weapons, all armors, have high health points, and you have access to all types of ammunition(Fire rounds, Freeze Rounds, etc)

If you hate micromanaging (or thinking) then play as a soldier. You get to slow time, shoot guns, and generally be a meathead.

I admit, it would be cool to be able to use biotic (magic) powers, though. Seeing people get incinerated is hilarious.

Hmmm I don’t know what I’ll go with I was a soldier in the first one and just use incendiary rounds on everyone which was a lot of fun, it was like having a bazooka.

Mass Effect 2 = Communist Propaganda.

It’s safe to assume that from here on out there are going to be LIGHT SPOILERS

you can’t join up/shag any ME! characters in this game. They want you to be Captain Kirk, and bone as many vagina bearing aliens as possible.

I stumbled across a random NPC conversation with a Quarian talking about this human she banged, and Tali (Shephard’s Quarian) was getting pretty fresh…COULD IT BE!!!

if that’s the case you’ll get to see her face. Shit man, you might want her to keep the helmet on, who the fuck knows what’s under there.

Jack lost her shit a freaked out on me and i lost my Loyal status with her, hopefully i can stuff her in the trash compactor and jettison that cunt into a black hole.
