7 hours of my life disappeaed yesterday. That time was spent in an alien Galaxy kicking ass and hitting on alien chicks. I was the Black Captain Kirk, except without the fake hair piece.
If you like the first one, you’ll love this one.
If you love rpgs, you’ll love this.
If you love Sci-fi or any other nerd stuff, get it.

And if you’re stuck with a PS3…Ha ha![/quote]
I’m glad to hear it’s great. The advertisements for it did the game no justice, they actually made it looked semi boring. After seeing CODMW2 advertisements, I was ready to blow something up, and that was not the case at all with the ME2 ads.

So I had to switch to the Second Disc today. I don’t know if it’s just for this one particular mission or what… seemed kind of strange. It’s a BIG FUCKING game though.
Be honest… how many hours have you spent probing planets looking for Iridium and shit so far? Mine is probably at least a third of my gameplay (~11-12 hours)

I’ve yet to do it. Once I’m finished on the Krogan planet, I’m gonna travel around, collect money, upgrade my ship, and explore galaxiesl
I played through it a little bit and then realized I didn’t like the default Shepard’s choices so I (re)installed Mass Effect 1 so I could get the choices I wanted. Got as far as the Krogran Planet too. Amazing game. Seeing them within hours of each other, I can see that the combat is MUCH improved. Can’t wait to get back to it.
I liked the combat of the first game. You just had to remember to upgrade your rounds and the weaponry. Upgrade your armor. And always have a group of 3 who can do bit of everything. And focus your skill sets in the right area.
Mass Effect 1 was epic.
Mass Effect 2 is also epic and I’ve only died once(because I did a Biotic Charge and then release there were 4 snipers above the spot I landed.

Then you’re not playing it on a high enough difficulty. I’m playing second from the top with an Infiltrator, haha. Bad choice.
ME1 was way too easy, so I’m going to go ahead and give props to this one for making it more difficult as well as the other improvements.
Ok you guys are convincing me to get on the Mass Effect band wagon. I’m gonna pick up the first one then pt II. You guys got any tips to make pt 1 a good experience?

No, it isn’t me. You just don’t grasp the object of taking cover and using your as a distraction.
