Sorry, no pretty graphs this week, MFP is throwing a fit so going old school here

^math is still off, should be down another 2.2lbs. In combination with last week, scale drop is missing 2.7lbs of weight according to diet. Strangely, the mirror is showing progress that the scale is not. I’m not naive or undertrained enough to suggest I’m simply replacing the fat with muscle, but a girl can dream.
My maintenance calories has proven to be accurate numerous times in the past, so everything should be working, but we don’t live in the land of hypotheticals. Guess I should have assumed hitting 10%BF wouldn’t come without cardio. Activity has been adjusted. 15 mins cardio daily, training to become 5-6x per week as noted above.
Adding 5 mins/day every week the scale does not move.
This is what matters right?
At least for me, the weight seems to come off in chunks. I’ll be the same weight trying to lose for a bit, then all of a sudden, I am like 3-5 lbs lighter consistently. I don’t understand it, but it seems that is how it goes for me.
92%! Nice recovery!
If the scale insists to keep me at 210 and i get down to 10% BF, i won’t be mad at the scale! (May owe it an apology or two though)
I’ve noticed this as well. I’m not too concerned, mirror is showing what i need it to. Would be a tad more comfortable if scale would match it though.
An absolute rarity lol.

Have been so behind on school, and so wrapped up with work, that I haven’t trained since Monday. Still have a ton of school to go. Diet has been good, haven’t posted online or logged all of it on MFP, but it’s been within 10% of target calories anyways. Time to train.

I needed this.
Weight Avg.: 210.1lb
Weight Lost (from last week’s avg): 1lb ![]()
Didn’t track macros for most days, too tired, no time, no fucks given. I ate the right foods and withing 10% of correct macros anyways, except possibly a bit shy on protein intake… tough to manage without meal prep (which I had no time to do).
Y’all ready for a ridiculous weight trend?
Okay so I only lifted twice last week… really not ideal. Between working 10-12 hour days, a 150% overburdened courseload, a sick baby girl, and like 5 hours avg nightly sleep - I just wasn’t having it. I’m still behind on school after putting in ~30 hours on it this weekend.
A work pet project I’ve been nursing for about a year and a half is coming to fuition this week, so I’ll be buddying up with certain parties to ensure they’re aware that I’m behind the process that just saved them 2-3 million and 10% schedule each time they implement it.
Trying to get caught up on school, sleep, nutrition, and training this week. It won’t happen, but I seem to enjoy tasking myself with more than I can handle ![]()
Weight: 210.3lb (lol)
Recovery: 42% (4h 26m slept, RIP)
Considering running the Protein Sparing Modified Fast (PSMF) at 200g protein to get some progress. Usually I can’t handle the hunger aspect of dieting, but the Semaglutide does away with that… doesn’t seem to be a reason NOT to. More thinking to do on that front before pulling the trigger.
You’ve got a lot on your plate, man. Just do what makes sense. You know how to prioritize and (old man alert) the only time you won’t get back is with the baby girl.
Yeah i’d echo mr bicep above, the only thing i really yearn for in life is more time with my family*
*and 20inch arms
And that’s why I’m chasing the degree. As it stands, I’m never home. I needed a career path that would provide the lifestyle i want to give my family, and i also needed to be able to spend time enjoying that lifestyle with them. I enjoy what i do now, and could make a great career from it; it’s fun, exhiting, complex and no two days are the same - but it isn’t conducive to keeping up with family.
I’ve got a beautiful blonde haired, blue eyed gymnast firecracker who is rapidly approaching an age where she’ll get too much attention. By my calculations, I’ve got 8-10 years to add about 2.5 inches on my arms.
^will need to find some powerlifter/strongman buddies after we move too. Nothing says “keep your fucking hands off her” like a squad of dudes with totals over 1500lbs.
Does this generation no longer appreciate a good ear necklace??
You must have forgotten the individuals’ name who first wore the ear necklace in Universal Solider. Allow me to elaborate:

Weight: 210.7lb
Recovery: 26% (3h 9m - i don’t think this is accurate BTW)
10 Ab Rollouts (to correct TVA weakness, identified earlier today - will incrementally increase reps)
Class tonight.

Hey man, random question.
I know your wife recently got on TRT and my fiancé is about to start with defy. She chose injections (I think y’all started with cream and are thinking of or have moved to injections?).
Did she notice any acne or things like that that are common for guys to get when first starting? We are getting married in a month and we are nervous she might have something like that happen.
I had a high school history teacher that was in 'Nam and claimed to have an ear necklace. He was cool as hell, too. Never did see the thing, hahaha.
2/8/23 - Rest
Will likely turn PPL weekly plan into PPL off, PPL off. The leg days take so much out of me I struggle to recover.

Was hungry all day, thinking it’s a sign of ‘need’ after leg days. Ate all my meal prep, then the wife came home with a rotissierie chicken that quickly became my rotissierie chicken - hence the huge protein numbers. Felt good and was surprisingly not too overboard on calories.
