- Went into this one feeling “meh”, came out the other side feeling accomplished.
- Having some motivation issues, need to address this. Also need to unplug from PWI… place is a time/energy suck.
- Diet is a bit off track today. Work provided free burritos for lunch and they were “healthy” burritos, but macros are uncounted. Going to assume today is maintenance once dinner is eaten.
I have always used the excuse that im allergic twOro something in the thing and just said it out loud that “if you dont want me to shit all over the place, better let me eat my food”. No one has ever asked me twice after. Fucking up a goal because someone brings something to the work is not necessary if you use the right excuses:D
Well, people bring in donuts, bagels or chic fil a on the daily, often multiple of those in a single day. I usually pass (like 99% of the time) but a burrito with steak, guac and rice really isn’t going to hurt me all that much… better than a donut for sure lol.
I probably should have passed on it, but it’s pretty low impact, all things considered.
Passing up on the office sweets and donuts etc is easy, not sure I could ever pass on a burrito a that is nectar from the gods!!!
Back in little O’ England, people know not to offer me cake or anything but when they bring round birthday samosas I have to have at least one.
Alright so training and diet really went down the shitter the last couple days… i always find myself in a funk when the girls are out of town. No diagnosis needed, I’m back on track.

Had a super stressful day at work and knew i was going to stress eat, so i brought home a rotisserie chicken and ate the whole thing (except a couple of bones… not as many as you’d expect though). Answered the mail, stayed on diet and stress-ate!
Fed the snake a pinky rat today… she waited 2 whole seconds before attacking the poor thing. She must have seen how i eat whole chickens and assumed that was the right way to go. She was right to do so.

All of my ‘special’ meals don’t actually count as a ‘cheat meal’ because they’re like Lobster, Crab, Prime Rib Roast (subjective, can be really fatty)… Who would’ve thought it would be hard to pick a cheat meal?

Meant to eat more, worked longer than planned and felt pretty burnt out. Got home and didn’t feel hungry enough to eat my meal prep.
Idk if squatting tomorrow is a smart call, may take another rest day to recover from the ~2400cal deficit im in today. Works in my favor too as i was planning to have my cheat meal tomorrow. We’ll see.

I talked myself into splitting a whole container of deli turkey between 2 sandwiches and eating them. +650 calories.

- 3lbs snow crab legs
- 1lb each clams and mussles (cooked in beer whine and butter)
- 1 bag mushroom ravioli, cooked in seafood juices and topped with meyer lemon and premium parmesean cheese

There were no survivors; the shells were lucky to be spared. Was going to get king crab legs but the $40/lb price tag was a hard pass. Got away with only spending like $50 total for this cheat meal… if only i could be a normal person who eats like a $10 pizza for a cheat meal ![]()
