Maschy,
You might want to look into some Feldenkrais, I did it when I was rehabbing some serious shit. Gives you much more body awareness, and guaranteed you sleep like you’re in a coma. Have fun in Miami !

I remember that pic too!
Not that it’s my computer desktop or anything creepy like that.
HAH! Thanks everyone! I wish I could pack you all up and take you with me!!!
I’m actually not leaving til Saturday, so I’ll be around this week. But thanks for the early bon voyage wishes! Gonna put it in hard this week, and next week I can take it easy. Really looking forward to it!
Also, I forgot to mention that as of last week my health care provider has decided that I’m “all better now” and have stopped covering my physical therapy. I’m a bit broken up about it, really. Feel kinda lost without my girl Christine pushing me around. I just stopped in this morning though.
Baked the PT staff some cookies yesterday and got Christine a gift card to Dunkin Doughnuts (I was always her first patient of the day and almost every session she would say, “Ugh. Let me have my coffee first…”). Anyways, I asked her one final time when I can start jump-roping (lol!). She said I can start now and told me to keep working hard and that “you can do it.” I might be projecting here, but I think she got a little teary.
Sigh…
Who’s going to tell me to move faster, or do a better job than the last time, or chide me with, “you want to be the BEST soccer player, don’t you?” And who’s going to gingerly massage my scars and stretch out my aches and pains and assure me that everything’s going to be ok?
Sigh…
This year I’ve lost my soccer team, and my homegirl Dixon moved, and then Katie moved, and now Christine. This distinct lack of in-face female interaction and sport-specific female camaraderie leaves me feeling all watery.
Anyways, I might look for a female training partner come January if I’m feeling it. For now I’m just going to dig deep and go it alone - maybe this is all part of the challenge…
Ever yours,
Forever alone

You know Masch you bring up a very important issue with us “girls” shower time should be done together as often as possible we cant be ashamed of our bodies, not only that its a great time to soothe our muscles so we should hit the showers as often as possible you know just to realize our different contours and stuff and we could also umm talk!
Git and Ddot…your just jealous of this exotic beauty!
Hey is that Astoria in the pic?
Let’s train together, I can wear a wig and some yoga pants, you know, pretend I’m a Colombian escort from Medellin who’s name is Juliana.
South Beach is the city I consider home in the U.S…I’m so jealous…ENJOY!
