Haha, love some of their mock-up songs.
“Is that it!?”, “Ohhh yeah, that’s it!”
Priceless
Holy crap a WALL OF TEXT is correct, gonna have to read that at home.

I know what you mean about all the time it takes to do the stretching and little movements. I think my warmups and rehab work take me longer than my actual workouts at this point. Kind of messed up but I want to be able to move and compete without pain, so I’ll take the hit, suck it up, and do it. I might have a pity party every so often that it’s not over yet ![]()
Bravo Maschy! Nice work. Lol on pimping me out…too funny.
UP you got it! And yes you really have to sit back into the heels. Especially with the Nikes since they are a bit higher.
That was complicated.
Wouldn’t it be easier to self medicate with Patron in the evening?
I kid I kid…
Good for you figuring out your weaknesses and fixing them.

I’ll come back and drool of vids later, but I thought you’d appreciate the dating advice my mom gave me this weekend.
Don’t talk about books, or anything you’ve read lately. Guys don’t want to hear about books or work.
Don’t talk about the gym or working out. It’s not normal. Especially BJJ, that’s just weird.
Be nice, and interesting. People like to talk about tv, talk about tv (but not documentaries).
I was like- oh mom, that results in me sitting quietly.
To which she said - good, just smile.

BAHAHAHAHA! (don’t listen to her)
Masch… Love your wall of text upthread. The more I know about your body the happier I am.
NOMSAYIN?
why are there so many words between the vids?
jeesh~

scj, oh I’ll seduce you, alright! (read roofie you) pout you’re not sure if you’re coming?! Iz ok. I understand. Plus you’re right around the corner from me, so maybe I can come to you one day! It’d probably be cheaper for me to take the Chinatown Express (not a euphamism) to DC than to hire a trainer. I’ll buy you dinner…whaddya say?
[/quote]
Chinatown buses are the shit. You’re welcome in my hood anytime!
oooooh what book?? what book??
Deadlift advice has been given, ass has been praised, so I’ll leave that alone, however:
What in the holy shit are other people doing in your gym? I thought some of the stuff I see is odd…
(datass! dashes)

This.
Interesting wall of text. It’ll be fun to see if your experiment works!

I know… jeesh
My left shoulder is higher then my right shoulder.
But it’s been that way since I smacked that bridge pillar in the motorcycle wreck with my right side.
My shoulders noticeably do not move the same when doing dead lifts, rows, etc.
I have thought about going to see someone about it.

Hm. Yeah. The book says that an injury like that can definitely throw off the bodies natural mechanics. Do you know if its a structural thing, like did you wreck any bones/spine, etc, that might cause skeletal differences? Otherwise you could be like me and need to get things realigned due to years of improper functioning.
Either way, I say see someone about it! If you an see a pro, do it.
And here’s the book for those of you who asked.
So far not too much changed in my symptoms. The hip still hurts on and off. Like today, after squatting. Now I think its more than just my flexor. Might be more that freaking internal hip rotation. And that I don’t know how to fix! The other day there was a clicking…so annoying. I think I need to stretch out my glutes more, see if that helps.
But the one thing I did notice is that my left glute has gotten unlocked, so to speak. And I can use it to stretch out my flexor, which is nice
I’ll have to see how my SL bridges are doing to see if they’re REALLY working.
Took an impromptu deaload and took it easy these last few days. Just did some whatever lifting and a bunch of conditiong. Conditioning was fun! but it kinda sucks because its the last week of this cycle and I hate ending on a weak note. On the plus side, next time I DL, it’ll be a full 10 days - i’m doing it right. Lol! Anyways, my next cycle won’t be all that much different. Just changing up accessories, might add in some back squats. So its more like things have been extended.
Also I’m going to Miami next week. Looking forward to it. Work has been killing me and I need a vacation like a nobodies business! Its my abuela’s 90th birthday so there’ll be a lot of family stuff. But I’m def looking forward to South Beach ![]()
Nervous with the whole pullup challenge and not having that routine to keep me on track. But I think I want it bad enough, I’ll be making time for that shit. Plus I need my Maschy time! Also, the gym at the condo looks like its from the 80s, and I gotta check it out. Lol! Should be interesting…Hoping to do some beach training too! Bear crawls in the sand? hah! Maybe not THAT intense.
As of yesterday food situ has been terrible. Soccer team holiday party was last night and is always one too many drinks. Whatever. Deload, deload. Tomorrow I’ll hit the stairmill and take pilates. Pilates will straighten me right out!
Hope you’re all having a great weekend!

Mash… lot’s of things broke in that wreck… Bone, tissue, etc.
I think I summed it up on the first page of my training logs.

Mommy needs a vacation too!! ![]()
Sounds like you’ll have a great time…
My shoulders don’t work the same either, thanks to a 20 year old RC injury on the right side. The traps don’t looks the same either. Oddly, you’d think the right trap would be bigger due to compensating, but no, it’s the left. Anyways…
Have a great time. No, make that awesome.
Enjoy Miami and Happy B-day Abuela! Rock some good ole Cuban Crema De Vie, Tis the Season!!!
My bikini is ready even if my body isn’t quite bikini ready. I’ll meet you on south beach.
AFUCKINGVACATIONSOUNDSSOOOOOOOOONIIIIIIIIICE!!!
I am totes stowing away in your suitcase.
