You can do them for back squats but I find it really hard to get into a decent position unless the pins are set above parallel. Could be just me. I’m not all limber (and schmexy) like you ladies.

Little late but the anderson front squats im ure its uncomfortable but if you could scoot under the bar another half step or so it would be positioned much better. Your going forward as you start the lift making it real hard. You could do another 20-30lbs easy if you got into a bit better position ![]()

Ah, so that is what anderson squats are. I’d heard of them, but didn’t know what they were. I do them sometimes. Mostly because Debra said something about doing them and since I often find myself in a relaxed position under cleans I thought it might help me clean more if I could learn to stand up more weight from a relaxed position.
I tried it with back squats the other day since sometimes it is a bit awkward to clean the weight back up after a fail. No could do. Couldn’t find a balanced position under the bar to begin the ascent. Nothing sucks more than front squats except anderson front squats I do believe.
Wow on your abs, girl. Pretty sure I wouldn’t look like that if I dieted for 2 weeks! Still… Guess we will never know, heh.
