Honestly, as much as I don’t like stupid people, they are certainly entertaining… as long as it doesn’t affect me.

See, I can be mean too. Actually I just ignore people when I’m in a bad mood, or when I want to criticize them. These are typically time times I don’t post very often, and God knows there are enough stupid people to criticize. I figure it’s like homeless people: you can give one a dollar, maybe even give a couple money or whatever, but there are WAY too many to make any difference, and they’re likely to blow the money on booze anyway.
I could criticize stupid people, but it’s overwhelming. There are too many for me to make a difference, and they’re likely too stupid to understand the point anyway. I’d rather focus on positive stuff, like letting Tone clean up the shit people throw at me, instead of picking it up and throwing it at other people. However, if I were a monkey it would be a different story.

In Contrl’s defense, Tone, I believe he was actually trying to be extremely friendly, and not rude in the slightest. Call it locker room bonding or whatever, but this is the way some of my friends and I talk to each other, and the very fact that it is so fucking rude is an indicant of affection (in a non-gay way, I feel compelled to say).
Actually, now that I mention it, I think it stems partly from the “gay” thing. Most heterosexual guys have been conditioned not to show affection outwardly for fear of being ostracized as “having the ghey.” To counter this, they go to the opposite extreme, and let you know, “Man, I love you, and there is absolutely no fucking way I would rim your asshole you stupid motherfucker.”
I know that you didn’t take it that way, but I hope you’ll try and understand that Contrl was NOT trying to fuck with you, but actually bringing you farther into the circle. And Contrl, I’m also not suggesting that you are the mere product of repressive male society, either.
I’m going to stop now before anyone suspects me of being a Women’s Studies professor posing as an AAS user.
Banning would be a little too hasty, as far as I know(correct me if I’m wrong) he hasn’t broken any rules here. Do I think he’s a tool? Yes sir… but so are a lot of guys on this site but they have every right to be here and post as I do as long as they play by the rules.

This is exactly what I thought was the humor behind cntrl’s statement and why I laughed. I think you contribute and post very valuable information to this forum Tone and you have posted here and have much more experience than I do. I just haven’t seen Poppins provide any useful information whatsoever in any of the posts he has written on T-Nation period.
