Marvels: The Avengers (Trailer)

God…

saw DareDevil yesterday, so bad in many aspects.

At least King Pin was amazing.

come on guys. wolverine and spiderman are to marvel as batman is to DC. they’re possibly the most badass characters in comic book history! (k maybe spiderman is not as badass as the other two. but i guess he is pretty damn popular as most people could imagine themselves in his shoes. i.e geeky school kid)
They are also worth the most, which is why they were sold off first and will be the last to return to Marvel.
Not if more movies are made by the studio then the rights stay which is why having that wolverine cameo in first class was so important to them it gave the studio time to make another wolverine film. I think fantastic four or daredevil will revert before Spiderman or wolverine.

So, like I said, Spidey and Wolverine will be the last to return to Marvel. BTW, I made that point about the Wolverine cameo when everybody else thought it was great. It pays to keep track of who says what…

Everyone’s favorite Scene!

Also, the way they handled the “Is Thor a God or not” was very good. They basically covered all angles from flat out calling him one to Captain America saying, “There’s only one God, ma’am…and I’m pretty sure he doesn’t dress like that”. You really can’t complain.

^^agreed. I think they really covered all the bases in that regard.

Saw the movie Friday and it was great. I thought Hulk, Thor and Ironman were the best characters. I actually liked Loki’s character MUCH more than in Thor. He actually seemed like a good villain and not just a big whinny dork.

SPOILER… Kinda?
The scene where Hulk is fighting Thor was great and I thought it was awesome when Hulk tried to pick up Thors hammer and couldn’t even budge it… Also the part with Hulk and Loki was amazing.

The Thor Hulk scene was probably my favorite of the movie and honestly (and I can’t believe I’m saying it) I thought the Hulk stole the show. I hope in future Hulk movies they can recreate this character, I like it even better than Nortonâ??s.

^^100% agree. Once the Hulk came on screen he totally stole the show because he just went buck wild and crushed everything/everyone. It was so awesome hahaha

I haven’t seen the film yet, but I was MOST psyched to see the Hulk in this film.
But now I see his face looks too much like Ruffalo (whom I despise). What an ugly fuckin’ Hulk.

:frowning:

Wasn’t there a comic book where Hulk was actually able to pick up Thor’s hammer and use it? Does anybody know? Yeah the movie was awesome. Glad to see you posting again Gregron.

So according to these comic books, Some different Robots, Red hulk, Superman, THe plantet Earth (lol) and Captain America were the top five guys to lift his Hammer. Interesting enough, Captain America was the only one who was “Worthy” enough and didn’t have to use super human strength to hoist it.

Maybe they can exploit this in later movies? Would be interesting. A hulk Reboot with Hulk vs. Red Hulk would be cool too…

Why? Just curious.

That’s not just some robot that’s the mad thinkers awesome android who can mimic powers hence the ability to cheat the enchantments. The Rulk never really weilded the hammer he used it as a means to get ahold of Thor and open a whupass can. Superman was done for a story same as Cap and I’m ok with that. The otaku forgot to mentiion Beta Ray Bill, Eric Masterson and the 2088 Thor who have weilded mjolnir and granted the powers of Thor.

Also the Maestro a gamma bombed Hulk from the future carried the hammer around and just dragged it along as he was not worthy, also notice in pic cap’s sheild, Dr Stranges cloak, Nova, Iron Man, Dr Doom’s, Ultron, and Juggernauts Helmets and Wolverine’s skeleton on his arm

Spoilers

I love how they went there with Dr. Banners’ suicide attempt. I remember Norton wanting to be a part of that story arc but the studio (at the time) thought it would be too dark, glad they at least mentioned it in this film.

And HULK SMASHED like a motherfucker! It was the best rendition I’ve seen of this role, a lot of fun.

glad to be back. had a pretty demanding commitment that took me away from here and the gym for almost 4 months but its good to be back.

That was one of my favorite parts of the whole film. He couldnt pick up the hammer and his feet were digging into the ground… amazing!

They just killed it with the hulks character. Anytime something didnt really go his way he just got even more pissed and crushed something that was near by. Very “Hulkish” of him.

Yeah his face was the only thing I didn’t like about the Hulk. Everything else looked good though.

There’s actually a deleted scene of it in Incredible Hulk and the fact that they mention it in Avengers means I guess they’re going to go with that Hulk in future movies.

Not sure, Marq. Some people just rub me the wrong way. Perhaps it was a role I had seen him in years ago that didn’t go over well with me.

Honestly, if the biggest gripe you have is, “The Hulk looked to Ruffalo-ish”, I am going to say they did a damned good job.

That was the first time the Hulk didn’t just look like a big CGI cartoon. Ruffalo gave him a personality…and he needed that.

That scene where he sucker punched Thor is now the definition of that character.

Oh, and let me say, those scenes near the end during the action where they would pan from one hero to the next while they all fought was genius.

Somebody needs to give that editor and writer an award.

^^Agreed… I think everyone will remember the Thor punch and the Loki scene. The theater went nuts after both of those shots.

By far the best Hulk. I know Ruffalo and his “people” were lobbying for his own Hulk movie… I hope he gets it.

Here’s the scene:

It’s toned down from the original idea (where Banner puts the gun in his mouth and pulls the trigger) but the basic concept of Hulk having a strong desire to live is still there. They expanded on this in Avengers by suggesting that Hulk saved Banner from an otherwise fatal dose of gamma by absorbing it.
