Marvels: The Avengers (Trailer)

Best…Superhero…Movie…Ever. DC can suck my dick. Long Live The Avengers. There’s only one flaw in this movie and even that’s me just being a Thor fan boy.

Thank you Marvel Studios. Thank you Disney. Thank You Whedon. After the Expendables 2, I can die in peace.

Hellllll yeah!

My only question had to do with Banner’s control in his first transformation and his second. But it’s minor. Tony Stark owned whenever the camera was on him and Widow was kick ass to the 300th power. Amazing all around.

I think when Ruffalo accepted the Anger, he could control it or at least steer the rampaging bus. I think everyone was great in the film. Cap was Cap, Thor was Thor, Iron man was a douche as always, and they made me like Hawkeye and Widow. Which is a feat unto itself.

Loved the Cap fight scenes. He fought like Cap.

In The Incredible Hulk film didn’t the sort of imply it at the end of the film where Norton is meditating and his eyes go green, he smiles, and the days without incident goes down to 0?

You are correct, sir. He controlled it at the end.

Your opinions on Thor in the movie Kevin?

I really don’t get why people are calling this an amazing movie or saying it’s better than any of the Nolan films. And i’m no Marvel hater, Captain America, Thor, and Iron Man, Spider man 1 and 2 were all better than this.

This movie was
cheesy
corny
had a terrible plot
and was more like transformers then I would have liked in fact I’d say transformers 1 had a better story
Thor just shows up
Banner somehow can control the hulk
They didn’t delve into Cap entering the modern world

that said I was entertained, but best comic book movie ever? NO

[quote]sardines12 wrote:

This was actually answered in the movie though I wish they did a scene of Thor on asgard coming down to earth.

as i understand the hulk, when he transforms unwillingly (note how he resists the first time) he has less control over the hulk, but when he initiates the change he has greater control (he can “aim” it as he says)… which goes in line with previous films and comics

idk, i wasn’t looking for an emotional tour of captain america. the few and brief references to this in the film served their purpose for me

banner’s control of the hulk is clear to a fan of the comics… it has to do with his willingness to transform (the trick is… i’m always angry)

i agree with the other poster a scene on asgard would’ve been righteous.

cheesy/corny? maybe, but this is a superhero action movie about saving the world, not an exploration of a rich guy mentally battling a crazy guy (dark knight), which i would bet you think is the “best” superhero movie

lol, rough life

The plot is incredibly like transformers 3, right down some alien gateway bringing an army to earth.

Saying that they did do it a lot better than transformers 3.

I thought Loki could of been a bit more bad ass as well, they turned him into a fumbling idiot who everyone got to beat the hell out of.

You didn’t seriously watch it for the plot did you?

This movie is about awesome scenes with some awesome characters, no more, no less. And they did a great job with that. Of course TDK was a “better” movie, Nolan was trying to make a “good” movie. Different genres IMO.

I Agree.

I enjoy Nolans take on Batman, but it’s a dark movie. This was my childhood fantasy taken to the big screen in all it’s Imax 3-D Glory. This movie Rocked on so many levels not just one Character but a whole team of TOP level Marvel Heroes blended like Never before on the big or little screen. HELL even the books don’t know how to make a team shine without making one the focus point.

Corny, cheesy … YEP ( it’s a guy in flag outfit) AND Josh Wheadon MADE IT WORK.

OH and the HULK was at his on screen best. One step away from the best he’s ever been written ( Planet Hulk)

Why couldn’t they film that during Thor? Thor with Odin sending him down.

I liked the movie, I just get annoyed when people try and say it’s the best movie ever.

I didn’t see the need for a crappy alien army. i mean I guess it was used as a test for Thanos to see if earth was worth his time, but there are a ton of ways they could have gone about that.

yeah well i think the concept of “best” movie is rather simple minded, so we all have our gripes.

:::::::::SPOILER:::::::::

and how exactly was the alien army crappy? they destroyed manhattan and were bested only by superheroes and a demi-god… i think you just want to dislike something about the movie, lol. which is your prerogative i suppose.

:::::::::SPOILER:::::::::

Comparing this to Transformers?? REALLY? wow…

It just seemed that if Widow and Hawkeye could fight them then the cops could have done something. It also just seemed lame that the invasion was just in Manhattan.
