Is this the general consensus? IMAX 3D tickets are basically twice as much as regular.
I saw in IMAX 3D and felt it was worth it added a lot. I justify price increases by sneaking in my own snacks because a) how the hell does a movie theater not sell Swedish Fish? and b) Milk Duds don’t need a 1298% mark-up.
Also, perhaps I stopped maturing at 11 years old, but sneaking in my own snacks does feel at least mildly rebellious.
Sweet I will see it in 3D. Thanks for the heads up (and justrob too). My son will be pumped.

To create hype and larger opening weekends.

Ha! I do that too! I go with both my sons, take a small back pack full of drinks and snacks and put their jackets or long sleeved shirts on top. Helps that it looks like a laptop bag too. I have been asked before and I just say it has work stuff in it and don’t want to leave my laptop in the car.
Saves me $25 at least:)

86 I think. 3 Whoppers and a large fruit punch. Seen Back to the future…twice.
13 minutes. IMAX 3D will let you guys know what I think. I grew up with these characters so not much can mess this up for me
Enjoyed it a lot.
Also think that Ruffalo did a good job with Banner.
Loki is a laughable villain, at best, puny demi god that he is (LOL).
And Thor must be the most gullible super hero of all time (hadn’t read Thor comics, before, only watched last year’s mediocre Thor flick).
Enjoyed Black Widow, too (wouldn’t have thought Johansson had it in her for manipulative toughgirl roles - remember, in Iron Man 2 we only got a short glimpse of her) and think that Renner did well by Hawkeye considering the little dialogue he had.
Still think that Tony Stark is one of the better Marvel heroes / characters. He doesn’t shy away from uncomfy decisions. And he had the best lines in the movie.

Thinking about shelling out for them for my nephew when I take him to see the film, I’m going non 3d tomorrow then I will take him(have to watch it once without being asked a ton of questions by a 10yr old)

They look better designed than the standard glasses. I’m not a fan of 3D but I’ll be going to see The Hobbit in 3D when it’s released (it has double the rate of frames per sec, and Peter Jackson said the difference in picture quality is huge), so I might grab a pair for future use.
Everything I wanted. You don’t have to be a geek/fanboy like I am or seen the other Marvel build up movies to enjoy it but it would help those not into the books.
This was the perfect Grafic Novel of a superhero movie EVER made. Don’t be cheap go see it in IMAX and if you can IMAX-3D.
You feel the explosions thru the theater seats.
HULK without QUESTION had the BEST Line in the whole Movie.
AWESOME!!!

How in the holy hell is there not a Hawkeye design?!? Also, is it just me or could the Thor design double as Spider-Man’s?
I’m seeing this with my gal tomorrow afternoon. Kiddo went to see it at 12:45 last night/this morning. He went with his girlfriend and three other girls because none of his “guy” friends wanted to see it. Hmph. Some kids today.

Find a IMAX theater. It’s worth it. 3D was Cool but the IMAX Giant Screen and the sound will blow you away.
3 Laugh Out Loud moments for me.
great movie. saw it in 2d and enjoyed the camera work, if i see it again i might try 3d.
VERY entertaining, excellent action and quite a few funny moments.
:::::::::::::SLIGHT “SPOILERS”:::::
some little moments I found especially enjoyable were the interactions between the superheroes’ powers… hulk trying to pick up thor’s hammer, captain america’s shield rebounding thor’s hammer, et cetera.
END SPOILERS::::::::::
four60 i’m curious which of the hulks lines you thought was by far the best? he had a few good ones. some of his funniest moments were simply his actions

SPOILER***
It was a Banner/Hulk line. Let’s just say I enjoyed the way he introduced the Hulk to the Whole Team.
