MarkKO's Training Log

This would destroy my macros because I’d eat a pan of regular brownies afterwards. Who am I kidding? I’d do that anyway if they were in the house.

Woke at 254.2 lbs, looking similar to yesterday.

And herein lies the problem.

Felt absolutely exhausted all day, so had a nap for an hour and a bit after work so I wouldn’t be a piece of shit to be around.

Didn’t think I’d train, but the nap worked wonders

Pull aparts and kb bottoms up press

@dagill2 @Cyrrex tried the 70 lber for a bottoms up press. I might be able to get it, if I chalk up.

Pullups
3x4
2x3

KB rows
2x15x70 lbs

Weighted pushups
4x5 with 70 lbs
1x10 with 70 lbs

Seventy pounds has a name: munchkin

Then I showed munchkin how to to tackle upstairs, he did a good job and we broke the bed.

Haha, nice one with the weighted pushups. Have him hang from your legs and do a couple chins next.

Y’all now have me wondering if I could manage any weight at all with a bottom up kb press. Thankfully, I have no way of finding out. Let’s just assume I’d be amazing at it and leave it at that.

I need no extra weight for pullups. Seriously.

When I can knock out sets of 10, then I’ll add weight.

Given you can do HSPUs I think you can probably count of being able to do a bottoms up press

I dig that logic. I shall stop doing deadlifts and because no one has evidence of how well I would be doing, you all would have to assume I’m really strong!

I’d be willing to bet you could pull 700 at least.

This made me laugh hard. Good on ya

Congratulations on breaking Eddie Hall’s deadlift record, mate.

Eddie Hall has a deadlift record? Why hasn’t he mentioned this before?

Woke at 253.1 lbs, looking much the same. Which is not bloated. Larger weight drop overnight, I’m guessing dehydration because I slept longer and much better than for a week or so.

It’s because rough housing with munchkins is good for the soul…or the bed needed to be adjusted

love the video Mark, he truly loves you.
But he is getting a little fat, breaking the bed. Because you’ve become so skinny lately, it wouldn’t be you.

Sure, I’m so tiny now :upside_down_face:

I’m very lucky

Extra workout

Two rounds, 25 each of
Pull aparts
Air squats
Reverse hypers
Lying leg raises

Woke at 254 lbs, looking similar to yesterday.

Todays training

3x10 bracing hip thrusts supersetted with 15 air squats

10x10 second bracing 90/90

SSB squat
9x3x302 lbs
5x302 lbs

All with 10 second rests. Haven’t felt like I was drowning and had to suppress the ensuing panic in a while

Bodybuilder squat (still with SSB)
2x8x302 lbs

Leg press
2x12x264 lbs of plates

Used 3-5 second eccentric to make the light weight actual work. This was effective

Weighted back extensions
3x10x44 lbs

Pendlay rows replacing pullups
3x3x154 lbs
15x154 lbs

Adam doesn’t have a pullup bar (he hates pullups because every time he does them he strains or tears his bicep. Ima say nothing), and I’m doing pullups three days a week so I felt fully justified doing this

An hour and 20 minutes, I was chatty

Nice session there Mark. Bet it felt good to squat heavy ish again.

That was last week. I was really pleased with how the 396 lbs moved. Next week I’ve got 479 lbs, so the wraps will go on for that.
