Just don’t push it, Nah you won’t I know. Glad to hear that the doc is not that worried.
Migraine can be a bitch. When I was younger I had it 2-5 times. I was about to kill myself absolutely the worst pain in my life. It haven’t been there since… knock on wood.

It sucks, right?

Exertion headache sounds about right, been there and done that, although not with the craziness afterwards like you had, although I’ve had a few migraines that have knocked me on my ass. They do suck balls.

I’ve never worked that hard and I don’t feel bad about it!

Woke at 260.1 lbs, looking similar to yesterday. Still that bit less bloated. Got eight hours on the CPAP.

CPAP? What did I miss? When did that turn up? How you liking the snorkel?

Not much, I just got my sleep study results and I have severe apnea. I was stopping breathing around 37 times an hour

Goes some way to explain why I’ve been a bit shit for a while.

So I got a CPAP on trial last week and the change is fucking phenomenal.

Glad to hear the change is significant. I’ve been using my dummy thing again and sleeping much better

Todays training

Opted to do this week’s accessory day instead of the deadlifts or accessories from the last week (I work a week behind because of the time difference). This was mostly because I didn’t want to deadlift or squat. I mean, I’ve been cleared to do it but I really didn’t want to. Since next week is deload I figured I’d just draw a line under this cycle and get going in a week.

Some band work (mostly band Y-raises) and this new Donnie Thomson thing I saw him put up to open my upper back. Very cool.

Incline bench press
Worked up to 2x10x176 lbs - which is good for me, because I suck at incline bench

DB bench
2x20x50 lbs

Dips
2x12

DB press
6x33 lbs
6x44 lbs
6x55 lbs

BB row
8x220 lbs
8x264 lbs - I’ve been so caught up with being super strict on my BB rows I figured I needed to move a little bit away from that. No chalk and grip kept slipping. I remember when 220 lbs moved like this

Weighted situps
3x20x44 lbs

All up an hour and a half

Woke at 260.1 lbs, looking similar to yesterday. So basically similar to the last week or so. Ten hours on the CPAP because of the time change.

Mark, have you looked into the the use of cannabis oils to help with the sleep issue?

I have invested in a company who are trialling cannabis oils and also a mouth guard to replace the machine. Look it up: IHL.

If I didn’t have apnea I’d consider CBD oil. I don’t see how it would stop my airway closing though, which is the issue.

The problem with the mouth guard is that there isn’t a try before you buy and it costs a couple of grand to have made, with no guarantee it’ll work.

The CPAP has so far been a magic bullet. I don’t have to get up to go to the bathroom, if I wake up I go back to sleep faster and I wake up feeling rested.

The first mouthguard I bought worked a treat, cost 60 bucks at a Bone Cruncher. Worked a treat, you mould it yourself, came with 2. Second one I bought was a cheap and nasty one off eBay, sucked balls, now the tongue thing works wonders.
CBD oil would be good, I wonder if our Nanny State Government will relax the laws with this stuff

Sunday conditioning

Walk around the lake/pond with munchkin on my back (so call it 600-800 metres with 60 lbs)

10x30 pace sprints up the small incline and walk back, around 75%

Around 300 metres with munchkin on back

Slow run for around three minutes (munchkin wanted to see how long he could run for)
