Woke at 235.6 lbs, looking similar to yesterday. Didn’t eat as much as I should have yesterday, but also was pretty sedentary.
Woke at 236 lbs, not any noticeable change from yesterday.

10x143 lbs - instructions were to keep it light with a weight you could do 5-6 more reps with. Because we use the same weight next week I just left it here.
DB walking lunges
3x15 m with 50 lbs each hand - lower back fucking screaming by now
DB RDL
2x15x50 lbs - couldn’t feel my hamstrings for shit. Lower back felt like it was tearing in half
2x15x60 lbs - still couldn’t feel my hams. Almost cried about my back
Alternating DB hammer curls
2x15x25 lbs - biceps I can feel
2x15x20 lbs - yep, I can definitely feel my biceps.
All up an hour and a half including stretching shit. Helped Alex a bit too.
Back doesn’t sound good, is it just tightness ?
What games will you be playing with it? A few of my buddies have been getting into Fortnight and trying to convince me to get the system.
Fallout 4 so far. It’s pretty good. I’ve always been a fan of Bethesda, but until now it’s all been Elder Scrolls and Rage.

I have rarely been this sore. Fuck me dead but my glutes and hips are cooked. I hate to think what tomorrow will bring for the top half of me.
Also, changing jobs. Starting a cabinet making/joinery apprenticeship mid August. Time for me to actually get a career. I’ll stay casual where I am to top up the shitty apprentice pay, but I’m looking at it as a long term investment. Excited AF.
Are you attributing this to any work in particular? (walking lunges perhaps?) or just all the shenanigans from yesterday’s workout?

@littlesleeper I’m going to go ahead and blame the lunges and also the close stance squats. For some reason they tax my glutes and hamstrings way more than my quads.
What’s your rate of gain these days? Aiming for 4 lbs per month?

We might be in a race to 260 then! I’m back to my strength/size focus so it’s time to eat. I’ve been weighing 237-240 lbs for awhile now so I’m only slightly ahead of you.
So I guess I’m looking at possibly bringing in the New Year at an all time high. If I’m 238 by August 1st then that puts me at about 258 lbs at the end of December. Holy crap that’s a lot of weight. I’ll probably be less than that due to my fear of a dirty bulk but at least I’ll be moving in the right direction.
