MarkKO's Training Log

Woke at 211.6 lbs, little lower ab bloating that’s typical of a shorter sleep. Otherwise still looking tighter than I did a week ago.

@IronOne I’ll stick to it alright. The only thing thar may change is what scale weight I start cutting back at, because I’ll go by what the mirror tells me in that if at 242 lbs it looks like I still can add lean mass I’ll keep doing that, and if I get too fluffy before 242 lbs I’ll dial back then.

Fifth best shotput distance of all time.

Throwers are scary, a lot of the good ones are decent Weightlifters (and absolutely spooky powerlifters).

Like this lad. Absolutely insane with technique that horrendous. Has like a mid 700’s deadlift.

Woke at 210.1 lbs, all bloat gone and looking pretty good. Maybe dehydration, but probably not as I kept on top of fluid intake yesterday.

Is this kind of a deload week for you, didn’t seem much intensity or volume for you

Woke at 211 lbs, looking decent although a bit flat. Bloat and wateriness has definitely been fucked off by the veggies though.

@mortdk yes, deload. We deload every fifth week. All we’re allowed to do is 5x3x50% and no accessories, although we are allowed to do Friday as normal.

Was going past my favourite bakery today, so yeah. Actually felt a ton better after though. Mirror will be interesting tomorrow.

I always end up lookin’ bloated after heavy abs due to the inflammation, mental panic ensues, “No, no, no, this is all wrong! It’s supposed to be a 6-pack now! Not a blob!”

Woke at 213 lbs, looking pretty much identical to yesterday. Vindication! Bakery detour was a good idea.

Glad deload is almost over, because TBH I feel more beat up that when it started. I think this is kind of normal, from what Greg says. I don’t feel beat up in the injury/poor recovery sense, more just plain tired.

Other note, for something like a month now I’ve been being way more regular about walking the dog, which means I’m clocking up a minimum of 30 km a week of brisk walking. Depending on work, that goes up to around 45 km a week.

A tired dog is a happy dog. I like getting out there too.
