Woke at 206.1 lbs, looking decent. Slept for ages, which helped.
Went for a swim yestersay (pool etc at work, figured I may as well use it as conditioning, and I don’t see how a swim once a week will hurt). Five lengths of the 25 metre pool with a minute rest between - each length took between 40 and 50 seconds, which is good by my standards.
Then sat in the spa for five minutes and the sauna for five minutes, then a cold shower.
I wish I had access to a good pool. Swimming is great low impact conditioning work full range of motion…

Thanks mate. Legs are coming along nicely, back is kind of OK, but definitely needs more mass. Chest, arms and shoulders are growing but like back are still too small. I swear I still have some kind of abs too, just.
Over calorie budget today (and it’s not even dinner time
). I was plain fucking starving and had an awesome chicken parmigiana for lunch. I’m debating whether I don’t eat any more today or say fuck it and have a completely unnecessary dinner just for the enjoyment of it.
I will say, since it’s germane to this, I think I’m doing well in terms of how my approach to food is going. I didn’t get particularly fat in Fiji, and that was a whole week just eyeballing my portions. I’m also more mentally relaxed about occasionally going over budget (like today), because I think I’ve proven to myself that I can go above budget here and there and not suddenly wake up fat and sloppy.
I mean, I’ve added some chub since I started trying to add mass, but I’ve added more muscle than fat. I think I’ll be able to keep adding until I hit around 220 lbs, then I’ll probably have to cut down to around 198 lbs. I’m basing that on my current rate. I’ll do numbers in a couple of days to see how I went in January.
