Does your singlet still fit?

@Frank_C I’m looking to go 506/269/550. My previous total was 539/280/566, so I’m not shooting for anything too much lower. In October, I’ll be looking to go close to my best.

My openers are all below my TM; my second attempts are around TM though.

@FlatsFarmer crap, I hadn’t thought of that. I’ll find out and let you know.

Woke at 182.4 lbs, looking noticeably drier and maybe a tad flat. Feeling a bit better, but sounding absolutely awful.

Thanks everyone for the well wishes, I’m now really getting excited.

You don’t want to look like a rookie, middle school kid in a baggy singlet!

It’s a Metal bench singlet, so it’s baggy above the waist anyways. I’ll try it on today.

sock it to 'em, fatty

OK, kit check is complete. Just need to get some tape for my thumbs. I’ll do that when I go to the shops to get meet day food and post weight in rehydration.

Rehydration is:

  • three 600 mL bottles of Gatorade with a teaspoon of salt and 10 g of creatine mixed in each;
  • three bananas to go with the Gatorade; and
  • two of the pills Jeremy gave me to help carbs go straight to glycogen stores.

After weighing in I’ll follow Jeremy’s instructions and eat salty, carby food all day. I’m looking forward to that. Dobinson’s will feature prominently. The goal is to weigh between 189 and 190 pounds on Sunday morning.

Food on meet day will be:

  • breakfast as normal;
  • four white rolls which I’ll fill with a tablespoon of peanut butter and a tablespoon of jam each and will be eaten between lifts;
  • one sugar free Monster for before deadlifts;
  • my last serve of Plazma that I’ve been saving, which I’ll start sipping while I warm up for squats keep sipping on until squats are done; and
  • my current intra workout which I’ll sip on after squats through to the end of the day, probably going through two or three serves.

Dinner will be something quick and tasty.

Monday I go back to normal eating, except calories go to 2500/day with the extra 100 cal from a tablespoon of peanut butter at bedtime.

Hey brother I wouldn’t stress too hard, depending on human error the BIA’s can have up to an 8% error either side of the mark. Personally I’d take total sum of skinfolds but thats just me
at uni the spread of BF% for me was pretty different between BIA, hydrostatic and skinfold, but over repeated measures the sum of skinfold was the most constant, depends who does your measures though

also, if you’re less hydrated you’ll conduct way slower so BIA will be higher. it’ll still affect calliper readings but not to the same effect as conduction rate (eg. your skin will only be a bit less spongy versus how fast it will conduct)

I did not know that about hydration and BIA. It makes sense though. Thanks.

Woke at 183 lbs. Looking very similar to yesterday. The goal is to wake at 180.4 lbs or less tomorrow. I reduced carbs a little yesterday and the day before, will do more of that today. I get two litres of fluid, and my cutoff for food and drink is around three pm, when I head to the sauna. After that, no food nor drink until after I weigh in.

Shush! You’ll summon -

Well, there he is.

I forget that you were a KB guy. I used to have the goal of snatching a 112lb kb, but after hitting my wrist with the 80lb I decided it wasn’t a goal worth pursuing.
