Well, I see Marion Jones ex-hubby has ratted her out for using controlled substances during the 2000 Olympics. I find it very interesting that she failed to even qualify for the 100 meter this year after her then husband got popped for using in the Sydney games. It will be quite intriguing to see how the BALCO scandal and discovery of THG affects this years Olympics.
The cat and mouse game continues…
Yup…
It’s hard to believe that the US will be all too strong in track and field events. I just hope that the lifting, boxing, wrestling, swimming, and equestrian events still pull through.
Gotta love that Dressage!
USA! USA! USA! USA!
B.
Sorry dude but your swimming team has been going down hill, or rather surpassed by the Aussies for some time now! Go Thorpey you’re unbeatable!
its all about lifting, boxing and wrestling anyway. They never get any coverage but thats all I like to watch anyway.
must be the MMA in me
Yeh…amazing how Marion Jones somehow didn’t know that her ex-husband was on steroids FOR YEARS and that here current squeeze has been accused of use in the past and several previously undisclosed details of her ex-husband’s testimony conerning her and several others’ testimonies match. But now that the IOC knows what to test for and is testing even more diligently, neither she nor Montgomery made the Olympics in the 100 meter. She scarpes by to make the LJ finals and then is “too tired???” to run the 200m final. B** SH**!! You were going to get your arse handed to you AGAIN and you couldn’t face the fact.
Somehow no one could touch her before and now a year after pregnancy she is human? Or is it the fact that everyone now knows about THG and doping techniques and how to test for them. Several WC female runner’s have rolled their eyes when asked about Jone’s “exhaustion” excuse.
No one could touch her before and now she is suddenly finishing 5th in the Olympic trials…I smell a rat…why do you think regina Jacobs suddenly retired…I would too if I was about to be banned for 4 years…sorry that was my track and field rant for the day.
As for the Australian dominance of swimming…that seems to be a one man show. As long as that one man can learn how not to fall off the starting board.
Maybe a bit late to reply here but you guys should look up Michael Phelps if you’re interested in the USA’s Olympic swimming prospects. He could beat Spitz’s gold-haul- possibly.
I’d still do her.

I second that
Marion Jones’ body has deteriorated over the last year or so (she is not in shape)???
She is also accused of using HGH and has the jaw to prove it.
aussie swimming one man show???
mate who are u kidding
Sure we have thorpey but we also have world record holder in the 1500m grant hackett our relay team in the mens 4x100 i think? who beat the americans in sydney(the americans were unbeatable as the commentator said) plus we have michael klim and few other stars.Sure micheal phelps might win a few gold but he is yet to prove himself against the top dogs but hey i wish him luck it should be good.
