ME Lower
WARMUP
Reverse Hypers - no weight - 15, 15, 15
Back Ext - bodyweight - 15, 15, 15
Dynamic Mobility

MAIN
Banded Deadlift - Orange Band, measured 145lbs at the top per side (290lbs total)
135 x 3
225 x 2
315 x 1
365 x 1
405 x 1
455 x 1
495 x 1

Deadlifts were MOVING tonight. I felt like Andrew Hause. That 495lbs was exploding off the floor and powered through the bands. Somewhere around 785 at the top! Today was the day I had a confident 700lb pull in me. I will probably go for a 700lb pull in 4-6 weeks. I had a workout Friday morning (a little lighter than usual) and then skipped my Saturday workout. I was fresh coming into this one.
I’ve been carrying quite a bit of fatigue for awhile now, so my strength was not feeling like it was there. I needed this, it felt good.

ACCESSORY:
GHR - 3 x 12
DB Alternating Toe Touches - 25lbs x 12 per side x 3sets
KB Swings to the eye - 2 rounds of 1min (I think it was a 35lb KB - no markings on it, but biggest one our gym has). I was getting around 35 swings in the minute.
Reverse Hyper - Weight unsure, whatever was on there when I went to it. 15, 15, 15
Sled Drags - Holding handles at waist. 1 x 45lb plate. Straight leg walks. 3 x 100yards.

Hamstrings and lower back were pumped with that combo of exercises. I’m feeling some good hamstring doms this morning too.

The deadlifts were an audible, we haven’t deadlifted in awhile and coach wanted my to deadlift. No ragrets. Was supposed to be a low chain box squat today. All good, the additional warm-up/accessory reps and cardio is the main difference with this program from the typical conjugate that I’ve been running. Looking forward to how this program plays out. I’ll try to get some “before” pictures up at some point this week.

Yeah at the expense of anything making sense. The writing is piss-poor and rushed this series. Though to be honest I think it’s been kinda bad since they ran out of book to adapt which is somewhat forgivable. I get the impression that the writers just want to wrap it up as quickly as possible now, hence why they opted for a 7/6 episode pair of last series as opposed tp 10.

I’m a simple man when it comes to TV shows. Keep me entertained, and I’ll keep watching.
I’d much prefer things not making sense, plot holes, and missed opportunities than having another full episode revolving around Bran. If it bores me, I will stop watching (which I was close to a few seasons ago when Bran had too much screen time).
My wife agrees with you though! She follows it along a bit more closely, read the books, reads articles about the show and theorizes about future episodes, etc. I won’t go full spoiler, but she was not impressed with how they killed off certain characters and rushed to make a certain character the “bad guy/gal”.

God, he’s a fucking mutant. I’ve watched his videos for a minute now and still every time I see his warm ups my jaw drops at the speed and force.

Man, it is wild how fast he can move weight. He is just a force.

Christ, that dude is beastly.

I truly believe if he didn’t get injured, he would have been the next Lilliebridge-Esk lifter in powerlifting. Even post injury, he’s still insane. I love Larry Wheels and enjoy watching him smash crazy weight, but Andrew Hause to me is way better. More focused and driven for the sport and just absurdly fast.

Do you recall what his injury was? All I can find is that it was a leg injury. His IG says he is only 21y/o! If so, I think he should have plenty of time to come back from whatever injury it was to still makes waves in PL.

I’m fanboying for Arya as well. Finally am coughs up. I watched episode 5 last night. I’m with you. I like how fast everything is progressing. As long as Arya doesn’t stab someone while she’s being held up in the air by her neck I’m good. After the giant and the night king, that would be a bit too much

Not sure exactly. And yeah I completely agree, I just meant in the sense that he could have been passed Eric earlier on. He’ll still do insane things in the sport no doubt.

I think Hause is still on track to be better younger. I cant imagine a better coaching team for him either.

Larry is making business decisions. I assume even marginal BBing results is more lucrative than Ray Williams’ IPF totals (sadly).

I tend to agree Andrew is better built for PLing than Larry though. Shorter, thicker and seems to be better at putting on weight etc and easily better coaches at a younger age. I think Larry is the better PLer though. Larry totaled 985@110 at 21yo in sleeves vs Andrew 1002.5@125 at 20yo in Wraps. Larry’s is more impressive to me…if we are splitting hairs. Both are super freaks and I am thrilled to watch their careers.

Well fuc*.

A couch was dropped on my toe/foot. They had to re-position my big toe and said “a few bones are broken”. 4-6 weeks in an air-cast. This happened hours after being invited to a PL meet in two weeks as part of a “Grand Prix Flight” that I apparently qualified for due to my Wilks. I’m not thrilled about this.

One legged meet?

Best split squat, single leg DL and single arm DB press?

Well that’s unlucky as fuck…

Life is really damn unfair sometimes.
