I started DL a while ago and went from 300lbs to 550 current! over a space of a few months…It seemed every time I trained I could add another 40lbs to the bar…My bench is now up to 250.
For some reason I really struggle with any kind of upper body pressing movements.
150? so like 70kg at 5’10 what are your other lifts? I don’t think you can judge just knowing one lift because so people are built to excel at one faster than the others.
Bench 250
Squat 380
DL 550
Long arms?
Those are numbers like mine.
345# squat, 245# bench, 140ish press, 500# DL.
It could take anywhere from 30 minutes to a half an hour to read this entire thread.
My head has hurt.

Ummm… taking into account the economical and temporal factors, adding some high calorie food/eating fatter stuff are the only things available.
ill tell you what helped me out when i was in high school. granted i was never a hard gainer, but i went from 235-265 in a school year.
eat goolash! there are endless ways to make it differant. i boil my hamburger to get rid of as much of the nasty grease out as i can since ive always been prone to acne and i find doing this helps reduce that for me. being a hard gainer you might just want to keep to the classic pan fried method. from there add what ever spices you like. macorroni, tomato soup, i like to use heinz since its what i grew up with. also, if its in the financial cards, some canned diced tomatos will go a long way in flavor/texture and just keeping it from getting too dry in the fridge.
ground beef is one of the cheapest protein sources, and probably the best mass gaining food, especially on a budget. you can also use it in stir fry’s which is one of the only ways i can get loads of veggies in me since i hate most of them… and you cant beat hamburger with mashed potatos! also, pork is another very cheap protein, calorie dense and goes awesome with spuds
side note, hallowed, you’re wet dreams are made of!..i mean…

Or better yet… APPLY them.

Ok so you weigh 154 and can chin up with 100 lbs… total weight 254 lbs.
When I do weighted chins I have my BW (205) and 75 lbs… total weight 280.
Should I run around braggin’ about chinnin’ 75 lbs then?
roflmao
Hiker/spelunker friend of mine lifted 225 on deadlift ~3 weeks after starting weight training under my tutelage. He also weighs about 130 lbs soaking wet.
My point in case you missed it: Stop talking like your the shit.
I still want to punch you in the face.

You have to wait until he fights hulk hogan first lol.
Another epic thread I missed…
I don’t know what’s more interesting – the fact that Hallowed very clearly had some personal issues going on during her time here or seeing almost every dude in this thread act like they’ve never seen a hotter chick on the internet.

flip a coin
I honestly really dug Hallowed back when she was around. But I literally just reread this thread and my take on her has flipped 540 degrees. How could I not have seen how bat shit crazy and obnoxious she was. Then again T-Nation was truly a different place back then. This place is nowhere near as entertaining as it used to be.
